xiaflex costs in usa

Xiaflex has been withdrawn from the Australian mkt - not sure why - so the cost has gone through the roof - how much does it cost per jab / vial in the USA? Say for private individual i.e. not covered by med insurance. Cheers

It costs $13000 to $15000 for the whole treatment of 4 rounds of 8 injections.

Cost is independent of the duration of treatment. They allow as much time between rounds you'd like. A minimum of 4 weeks between rounds is recommended.

US insurance companies pay significantly lower contracted rates, but the commercial off-the-shelf / private pay is, I'm told, about $3-5k per injection. Not clear to me if that is the medicine only or the medicine plus the labor for the procedure.
