Hi There,

I've been using the SOMA VED for a few weeks now.

I've just read about warnings to avoid over-pumping.

I'm following the advice given to me by the medical rep, which was as follows:

Trim / shave pubic hair
Stand up to do the exercise
2-3 pumps every 5 / 10 seconds
Generate 20 full erections in sequence holding each FULL erection in the correct diameter cylinder for a maximum of 5 seconds
To be repeated daily for a minimum of 6 months until curvature correction optimised

As my glans is larger than usual I was advised to use the XL cylinder.

Is this valid advice?

I've read the section VED PROTOCOLS & STUDIES on the forum. These seem to be old posts. Are these the protocol posts that people are advising to read before using the VED?

Whilst i haven't used a VED myself, from what i have read it does seem pretty reasonable. Especially the not over pumping part. Over the years on this board, there were some members that have injured themselves doing just that. Wether it is the penis swelling up a fair amount and taking a few hours to return to normal, or even aggravating your erectile dysfunction.

The posts on the protocol maybe a bit old, but still valid as far as i am aware. Hopefully more members with VED experience will chime in to share their experience.

Note to newbie and members contemplating VED therapy according to the protocols listed in the VED board section of the home page index:

They are for the most part original as when they were first posted. Only minimal changes have occurred since, but do NOT CHANGE THE OVERALL INTENT of these protocols.

Any questions about these protocols should be addressed to the undersigned for clarification.

They are there and you can see the protocols for all separate VED devices medical grade 3 cylinder devices or one cylinder devices and so on. Read them thouroughly.

If you have already seen those and got confused because it's another user who has posted those protocols do know that the protocols are done in conjunction with Old Man.

Good luck!
