PTT, supplements and patience
« on: June 25, 2021, 02:56:39 AM »

Helly guys,

after 10 months of fighting Peyronies Disease, visiting 3 uros and buying TD and VED and supplements, I want to share my experiences and what helped me finally.

"There is no cure", said the first uro to me, prescribed Potaba Glenwood and told me a few things about surgery. Thd second uro was very empathic and seemed to be more competent than the first one. He recommended ESWT and visiting a specialist. The "specialist", as I wouldn't call him definitely, said like the first uro, that I can experiment with a few things, but there is no cure and only surgery could fix the curvature.
After 4 months with a 45° curvature to the left, pain the whole day long and kind of depressive feeling, I decided to search for a treatment option on my own. This forum here has helped me immensly.

The "multimodal treatment" is a well explored treatment and so I started with PTT, supplements and VED. Details are written in my main topic (Multimodal Treatment) and signature. The key is patience and healthy living in combination with PTT and only the supplements, you really need. Tadalafil is the only med, I take.

After 6 months I can say, that result is unbelievable. My penis isn't the 100% same then before, but I don't care, because I don't have pain anymore and my curvature has decreased from ~45° to ~10°.

Wow!! Just amazing. Absolutely amazing. Easily one of the best nonsurgical recovery stories that we have on here. You did great posting the pics as well, it serves as proof to anyone looking here that traction works!!

I don’t even see any left bend on the “after” pic! You look nearly straight there apart from that slight upward curve (which I’m sure your partner absolutely enjoys and never wants it to go straight  :P )

All I can say is congrats man and great effort. I’m sure it wasn’t easy grinding through the treatments, but it must be so worth it knowing you beat this disease.

So any idea what your maintenance therapy will look like moving forward? Maybe traction 1-2 days a week?

Great work bud, and thanks so much for sharing this! I wonder if it might be useful to go back to your uro and show him these pictures. It’s not for your or his benefit, but for the next Peyronies Disease patient of his who is looking for help. Maybe your case will convince him that he should consider recommending his future patients to engage in  traction therapy.

Thanks man  :)

Yes, the journey was hard. I took many supplements and tried traction by hand, but the PenimasterPro, Tadalafil and only the few supplements in my signature were game changing.
I do traction ~3 hours every second day and 2 times per week VED. Supplements and Tadalafil are the same. I can feel still 3 of 5 plaques in my penis, but they are softer than at the beginning and that's why I'm carefully.

That is astonishing!  Such hope for everyone here to actually see your progress.  If you never showed us the before pictures we would never have known that you had peyronies! Great success!  So I am curious as to how much tension were you using on the PMP?

Wow we need to see more results like this on here. Unfortunately i may have to take a break from restorex because I got a sharp pain and now a lot more inflammation in a new area from it. Did you use the PMP? The Restorex truly feels like a torture device and using it gives me a lot of stress but can’t find the time to wear a device for several hours

This looks too good .... did you start traction as soon as you got a curve ? I am wondering if you caught this in the acute phase and maybe that can be a big part in the improvement.

When did I say that ? I said that maybe the fact that he caught it early and started disciplined traction early saved him ? I am posing this question to him.

I used ~600g after 1,5 months of traction with lower tension to get used to the device. I thought, that continuity with the same tension would be better than increasing tension, vecause that could cause new injuries.

Yes, still active, but much less than before. I had always pain the first months of my Peyronies Disease (August - Drcember 2020) and my curvature made it difficult to penetrate without bending more to the left, because of the hinge effect.

Which traction device did you use? This is very similar to my bend.. I was told
Traaction would not help with my plaque so close to the glands. This is great.

Hey how are you psychologically? Do you have full confidence in your penis right now. Is it constantly on your mind? How did you deal with it when you first got your symptoms?

Hey,
I'm fine. No, I'm not thinking always about it, because there are more important things then my penis. At the beginning I felt helpless, but I've never given up.

Hey Nolte,

Great work with the traction/VED. It looks as if you have straightened your penis but may have lost some length/girth.

Did you measure your length and girth to see if there was any change? Pre traction/VED vs now?

Hey,
I've only measured the curvature, because I was and am happy with length and girth. My girlfriend perceives, that my penis has become longer and bigger than before the disease appeared.
Maybe the erection at one photo is only 95% and the other 90% and that's why the size looks a bit different. I don't care about every single degree or millimeter.

Regarding your traction, did your penis become cold, any color changing of the glans during prolonged traction?

I'm trying to understand if this is normal or not

I am not sure which traction device you are using but I read somewhere that Dr Trost and/or Dr Levine said that this is normal, as least with Restorex. It can be uncomfortable and look strange but apparently you can keep your penis in the Restorex clamp for several hours without any danger.

When I take off the device after 2-3 hours of traction, my glans is a bit cold and pink at the top. A few seconds later it becomes warm and normal red.

Yeah,  typically it was very early on when you just start using the device because your penis gets excited due to a new touch, over time your penis becomes used to the clamp and rarely if ever gets excited. Couple of ideas to circumvent this problem-

 1) Avoid doing traction  early morning or late night when testosterone is highest and you can get erecetion easily.

2) Wait for erection to go away. Wait multiple times or try again at a different time.

3) Sometimes but not always, you can masturbate gently 5 mins before traction if your penis just simply refuses to corporate.

4) If you keep trying, over 1 month your penis will get desensitized to the clamp of traction device and won't get excited, so you just need to try these steps 1 month.

5) if using restore X and this really helped me , take out the clamp from the device completely and fix it on the glans and walk around for 5 minutes. Erection will go away. Then insert clamp.back into device and activate tension.

Sometimes yes, but it has never been an issue. Erections are important and the length of my penis with the device is quite the same as the erected penis is.
