Hey guys, I'm trying to order a PMP for my problem, but I'm uncertain about what exactly I'll need. There's all kinds of stuff on their website (belt expander, diaphragms, sluice etc) and I'm not sure how exactly to get set up. Any advice or if you could link me in the right direction would be highly appreciated. And if you would recommend any other treatments in conjunction I would love to hear your opinions. Thanks.

I'd also like to know if you guys prefer the PMP or Restorex. From cursory research it seemed like the PMP was standard but this study: https://www.jsm.jsexmed.org/article/S1743-6095(20)30939-5/fulltext claims Restorex is also safe and effective for the condition.

Hourglass deformity and 20-30 degree upwards curve
General discomfort when flaccid, and a light tapering of the shaft 1/3 way from the base when erect
Condition stable, never treated

For the Penimaster Pro (PMP), all you will need is this to get started! https://www.penimaster.com/shop/penimaster-pro-stangen-expandersystem-detail-52
Don't worry about the diaphragm and sluice right now. The above kit comes with everything you need to get started including multiple sizes of the diaphragm and sluice. Once you figure out what fits you, you will need to re-order that specific size in the future.

PMP is a great device and is extremely comfortable due to the suction mechanism to hold your glans. The biggest con of this device is it requires a significant daily time commitment. 3+ hours is standard and its encouraged to get closer to 5-6+ hours as a daily average to see results faster.

RestoreX is also a fantastic device that only requires 30 mins a day! The biggest con of this device is the way it clamps your glans. However, once you get adjusted to it, the device is great to use. It is completely safe and has reliable studies backing it up. I'd recommend watching this video from Dr. Trost (the inventor of the RestoreX and one of the leading Peyronie's specialists) to see how to use the RestoreX in the most optimal fashion - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2v42XPREz6U. The RestoreX website has everything you need to get started - https://www.restorex.com/

PMP is low tension, requires a time commitment (3+ hours daily), and very comfortable.
RestoreX is high tension, does counterbending, requires low time commitment (30 mins a day), but the glans clamping mechanism is a little scary at the beginning.

Both are top notch devices. You can't go wrong with either. I highly recommend choosing the one that you can keep on the treatment schedule. If you can't find 3+ hours a day to do traction, you must use RestoreX. If you can find 3+ hours a day and you are a bit scared of the RestoreX clamping mechanism, choose PMP.

Hope that helps!

That does help. I was too scared to try traction at the beginning due to some posts I saw on here. I have the time right now but it seems like, based on the study I posted, that Retorex has had positive results treating the hourglass deformity which is my main concern. Ever since I have been lifting heavily, blood has retracted from my region and is getting sent to the areas I'm causing inflammation, making it stiff and uncomfortable while flaccid.

What did you think of Dr. Levine? I have some money now but am on Medicare insurance and I'm sure he doesn't accept that. I was considering shelling out for an examination to see exactly what and where the damage is.

RestoreX is a great choice!

Dr. Levine is fantastic. Would highly recommend anyone to see him for a thorough examination. His cost is $1615 without insurance. This includes the 1 hour visit, palpation exam, and flaccid and erect ultrasounds. For $75 more, you can also get a nerve test (biothesiometry).

I can send you a complete rundown of the appointment from start to finish if you would like to read it!

That would be great, bud. I'm pretty anxious about it all; ever since I decided to do something about it I've barely slept.

Dr Levine is great at giving you a correct diagnosis. He is an advocate of the PMP which I also use.  Once you get accustomed to putting it on then it is very easy to use.  I have posted several mods here in the forum on it.  You can also PM me for any questions on it.  Welcome !  :)  Mikel7
