i have ED. i have seen 4 doftors about it this and last year. mind you that i do have a history of peyronies diseaae associated with the ED. so, i saw them and non actually did major diagnostics.

doc 1 did a doppler in flacid state. he said there is no visable plaque and that my arterial diameter is normal and that i have normal blood flow. mind you this was done in flacid. however, with my kind of ED i have no problem with inflo into the penis. in fact, i can grt somewhat hard pretty fast. the issue is the erection never becomes full and its basically impossible to maintain. it seems to me that there is enough inflow but it leaks. because as strange as it sounds thats what it feels like

i have also mever gotten doppler to see for any plaques only palpation and flacid.

the other doctors, same issue. one said to probability for orgamic ED with my peyronies case is not that high. what the hell? i am in my twenties and i want a proper diagnosis and not "ouhh zhe probability is not that high" when i have symptoms?

we have public insurance thus i assume doctors wont get the doppler compensated properly. its all so f'~c<+d.

for a while now i have become emotionally eaten up by not knowing if thete is any organic reason for the ED. i am being left in the dark.

what should i do? is this even okay for those doctors to not do a test for vascular ED? also i never did geg any bloodwork done. but all had in common that they prescribed pills. but i hate the pills, and worst is the erection still sucks even with my daily cialis 5mg. so that seems kind of alarming?

I have no idea what malpractice law is in the UK, but typically for malpractice, you have to have been made worse by a doctor's actions not remain the same because of inaction.

Did you have a conversation with these doctors and calmly but assertively insist on Doppler Ultrasound with an induced erection?  Did you insist on tests for Free AND Total testosterone?

You need to spend significant time every day working on your mental state.  I am sure I mentioned this before.  NOTHING will sabotage your erections more than your mental state.
Make this --->www.insighttimer.com  part of your life.

Consider finding a good CBC therapist.

To ignore these suggestions is malpractice.

i did not insists assertively i have to admit. i am not seriously considering this to be malpractice it was meant a little provocative as in doctors dont really care about their patients very much. ithought there are guidelines that ought to be followed. i have made a new appointment in july and i will do just that, i will calmly but assertively ask him to finally do proper diagnostics.

i just feel like its the job of the doctor to actually do the appropriate tests and not the patients responsibility to do his own research into the mechanics of it. before i got this i did not even know what a doppler is or that free T is even a thing. and without my own research id have gotten nothing from the doctors, they were kijd of useless

Welcome to the real world.  You will find (as I did this week) that whether hiring a lawyer, a doctor, or any other professional that only those who advocate for themselves get the best service.
It is academic to discuss whether it should be this way.  That is how it is.   It is RARE to find a departure.  There are studies in the U.S. that show how much longer cancer patients live when they take a personal interest in their care and treatment.  I once asked a patient waiting for radiation treatment what kind of cancer he had.  He did NOT even know, but he was getting radiation every day because someone said to do it.  He is no doubt dead now.

I asked another man who had prostate cancer why he chose hormone treatment and radiation rather than surgery. His response "Hell. I had nothing to do with it.  That what they decided to do."  I wanted to bang my head on the wall.  Who lets doctors decide their fate and what to do with their bodies??
