Hey Guys.. I wanted to post my experience and journey to this point. I started out with cialis for a couple years off and on, then migrated to Trimix injections for approximately one year before the needle damaged my penis. Scar tissue was forming on both sides and i was developing a downward curvature which was making it impossible to have sex. Eventually i found this forum and gleened every bit of information that i could find out about this condition. I tried a little of everything. supplements, dmso, traction, and vacuum device. I was just spinning my wheels everyday. So, after searching around for a surgeon, I found Dr. Jonathan Clavell here in Houston, Tx where i live. He has a few videos on youtube which helped me with my decision to choose him. Another guy in this forum also recently used him and had a good experience which gave me more confidence. Dr. Clevell is a very good Doctor and his bedside manner is top notch. He's very easy to talk too and very confident in what he does.

Day 1

Finally i got clearance from my cardiologist to have general anesthesia surgery. That was a headache since i was initially scheduled for a surgery date in march. Had to do the covid screening a few days beforehand. Arrive at the HCA hospital at 5 am for 7 am surgery, and I believe I was in recovery by noon maybe earlier. Anyhow, I spoke with the doc before the procedure to answer a couple questions regarding RTE's and catheter issues post surgery. Next thing I know is lights out. When I woke up, I was in the worst pain I've ever felt. Mann, the pain was difficult for a few until I got some pain meds. I had nausea  and wound up throwing up which made me feel a lot better. I was discharged with the bandages and scripts for meds. So far my biggest issue has been with peeing. It is very painful like burning sensations when it comes out. It goes in every direction too. The scrotum pain is not too bad and I try to take minimum pain meds.

Day 2

Last night was a little uncomfortable mainly when I had to get up to pee. Had to use multiple pillows to get comfortable, Dr. Clavell called me to discuss the surgery. He said he put in a 24 cm Titan without any RTE. He was able to make a small incision and did not have to cut any scar tissue. He was pleased with the surgery and advised to continue taking the antibiotics and pain meds as needed. I'm inflated about 60 to 70% and from what i can see, it seems ok.

Congratulations on joining the fraternity of the Bionic Penis.  As one member's girlfriend said, you are now an improved Male 2.0 upgrade, far superior to 1.0 models :)

Can you tell us more about your surgery?
1. Was it a scrotal approach with no other incisions?
2. If so is the incision verticle on the raff or horizontal?
3. Do you have instructions on how long you will be inflated
4. Can you take baths
5. were you sent home without a catheter?
6. Any clue on when you start cycling?
7. Were you given a keyring replica of the pump?

Thanks Hawk for all of your help and everyone else in this forum..

My surgery was done from the scrotal approach and it seems to be about an inch or two vertical cut. I was told to remove bandages after 2 days which i did so this morning. I was told to take showers, but I will ask about baths in a later conversation with the Doc. I'm partially inflated about 60 to 70%, and I was told I'd be like this for about 6 weeks at which time I can began cycling. I was given a model pump to practice with.

Day 3

After taking off the bandages (which was painful as heck due to the bandage glue), I was able to see the results. TIP: I poured peroxide on the bandages to help loosen up the glue. I still had the downward curve that I was hoping to get rid of and of course I am still having some pain in the entire area. I texted the Doc about the curvature and he assured me that once I'm fully inflated it would improve and if not he would do what needed to be done to further straighten it out. I mainly have a band of scar tissue that developed on both sides that ran then entire length of the shaft that prompted the curve formation and I was thinking that he may cut them, but he said that he saw it straighten out well after installing the implant. We will see on that note. He advised to wear cycling shorts to keep it pointed up towards my abdomen for now. And, of course that position is kind of uncomfortable. I'm hoping he is right on straightening once fully inflated. Other than that, everything else is about what is expected. Urinating is still painful, so hopefully that improves as well.

I am confident that he is right.  He pumped it up in the OR and whatever he saw, you will see better after 3 months of cycling. Six weeks is a  L O N G   time to deal with a semi-inflated implant.  I don't know how guys do it. but once you make it through the fire, you will love what is on the other side.

Welcome, Gregd.

Congratulations on making the decision to go ahead with surgery and to now have what will be a life-changing new penis. Don't worry about the residual curvature - I remember very well being quite despondent about my residual curve (also downward) but daily cycling, pumped to the max, twice a day will straighten you out properly. Your dick will go through a whole reshaping process over many weeks/months with your Titan.

Be patient, absolutely stay ahead of the pain with meds, and relax. If you could fast forward 2 months you wouldn't believe the positive changes, both physically and mentally, that are coming your way.

Read our journals while you recuperate as they are a diamond mine full of information.

Thanks Roddy and Hawk for the feedback. 6 weeks is a long time for a semi hard on. I'm 3 days in and I can hardly imagine how much more days I have to walk around like this. This is Dr. Clavell's protocol. I chose him because he is here in Houston and in my opinion is one of the top doctors doing these type of procedures. He is definitely a very good doctor and should be considered for anyone looking to do this procedure (especially if they are close to Houston area). It's good your testimonies tell me that my penis will change and straighten out over some time. Mostly now I'm dealing with pain and position management. Its still difficult to pee sometimes, so hope that will continue to improve. I have been gleaning through some of the journals and I truly appreciate everyone who has contributed productive information on this forum. I'm truly indebted to the guys who share such personal and private information. I've been dealing with this condition for about a year and it was progressively getting worse. In my opinion, This is the best route to take and it should be done asap. That scar tissue is very strong and there is no other real solution to break it down. I'm happy to get this process going, despite the pain and other issue related.

Now you are doing the same.  Your info will undoubtedly help some other individual down the line! Also the 6 weeks will pass by quickly.

Welcome aboard.
If you can, please update your signature with date, model, and size of device.
If you are comfortable, please post some pics as we all know a pic is worth a thousand words.
I wonder if you took any pre surgery posts, these measurements can assure other potential patients of some valuable information.
You can look at other journals for ways to measure.
I was amazed at the progress of my new penis and to this day am happier with my increased girth the most.
I am in total agreement with others, be patient, this is the time to go slow, but pay attention to details.
We all seem to fumble around with the Titan release valve, but once you are allowed to pump, keep a log for yourself if you can.
Each doctor seems to have their own calendar, but when the day comes to pump it and use it, you will be happy you waited. I have long past the date of stretching my penis a little more each time. It was almost like a workout, where you could feel a little pain from a muscle work out, but a good pain. I sort of miss that now, as I reached my maximum, but once you can pump, try to enjoy it, knowing that "no pain, no gain".
Good luck, stay in touch and always feel comfortable in asking any questions you want.
We are here to help, as we too have been helped by others.
