Surgery results not ideal

I have been battling Peyronie's for over 2 years, I am in Michigan and saw a local urologist initially who prescribed a 4 month round of Pentox, which had no effect.  I was then referred to the University of Michigan where after meeting with the doctors and having a doppler exam, was recommended for incision and grafting which I underwent on 9/1/2020.  They ended up doing plication on the opposite side from the graft (graft is on the right side).  After healing, I find that the grafted area is significantly dented, very tight and not flexible, this has left me with a penis that is still bent at least 45 degrees to the right, shorter and not ideal.  In my most recent follow-up, the Dr explained that the graft healed incorrectly.  He offered to place another graft on top of the original (to hopefully correct the dent) and do more plication stitches on the other side (which will make it shorter yet).  He noted that an implant is another option.  I do not currently have ED.

I am at a point where I am planning to consult with Dr. Levine in Chicago for a 2nd opinion, I see that many here have seen him with favorable results.  I am curious if anyone has any other suggestions to offer?  I am not specifically opposed to an implant and I would like to be sure that this next surgery is my last and that I will be at least generally happy with the results.  Thanks everyone for this supportive environment.

Sorry to hear that the surgery didn't go well!

I think you are certainly doing the right thing by going straight to a top Peyronies Disease specialist like Dr. Levine. You'll be in great hands with him. I would be very skeptical about doing another surgery with the same doctor before getting second and possibly third opinions. You need opinions of only the best Peyronies Disease surgeons we have, and Dr. Levine is amongst those.

I don't think there is much input we can provide on your condition at this point (although maybe others have more insight!) since you have already completed a surgery and now need a subsequent revision surgery.
