Hey boys, how's it hanging?

Has anyone done this 2009 study VED protocol that used 3 min erect holds? i just started doing VED this way a week ago and I like it more than the "regular" protocol. The "active" erect time with this protocol is 9 minutes twice a day compared to the regular protocol which is about less than two minutes "active" time. The difference in active time is huge so I'm expecting mind blowing gains! From now on the only thing I do to my penis is this protocol, I just dropped traction completely.

This is the study, https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/20438558/ and below is quote from it.

"Over a 12-week period, the patients used a
vacuum device (Osbon ErecAid®, MediPlus,
High Wycombe, UK; Figs 1,2) without the
constriction ring, for 10 min twice daily to
stretch the penis. The cylinder was applied to
the penis and slowly inflated until the penis
was erect and maintained in this position for
3 min. The vacuum was then released to allow
the erection to subside and the process
repeated over a 10-min period."

I have used the protocol here with good results.  I would be very cautious.

Interested in the results of this. I did happen to overpump once and get re-injured so please be careful and us updated.

This protocol is the only research proven VED protocol, everything else are just anecdotes. I rather trust research proven study than anecdotes from internet forum. No one participating this study got hurt and I haven't got hurt either. No need to send me direct messages trying to scare me, I trust science, not anecdotes and if someone has anything to say to me, you can say it here openly and remember that this is not my protocol, this is the only research proven protocol there is.

The results of this study speak for themselves:

"There was a clinically and statistically
significant improvement in penile length,
angle of curvature and pain after 12 weeks
of using the vacuum pump. Of the 31
patients, 21 had a reduction in the angle of
curvature by 5–25°, three had worsening of
the curvature and there was no change in
the remaining seven. The curvature was
corrected surgically in 15 patients while the
remaining 16 (51%) were satisfied with the
outcome."

Hello fellas,

So I have been doing this 3x 3 minute hold VED protocol for 6 months now and my final conclusion is that it is not as good as multiple frequent 5-10 second erection hold protocol. I haven't injured myself at any point while doing these 3 minute erection holds, but I haven't got any improvements either. My penis improved and looked the best when I did the original protocl for peyronie's that is included when you buy SOMA correct device.

So I'm going to return to doing 2x 10minute original SOMA correct protocol for peyronie's. This is the protocol that improved my penis the most and while doing this protocol my penis was the healthiest and fullest looking too.

In my experience the most important thing with VED is pumping fresh oxygenated blood to your penis and this is best done with only 5 second max erection holds like it was written in the SOMA correct manual. When you do only 3x 3minute holds, you don't get fresh oxygenated blood to your penis.

So that's my conclusion, take it or leave it, it's up to you guys! 🤓

so you recommend 5-10 second holds over the 15s which is in the protocol here?

I recommend 5 second max erection holds like in the SOMA manual. You can google "soma peyronie's manual" and look from the manual what the mechanism of action is for VED and how they theorize it helps. It says that they think it works because it brings fresh oxygenated blood to the penis and if you do long erection holds like 3 minute holds, then it would make sense that it's not beneficial because old blood just sits stuck in your penis. I think this is why I didn't get any benefits from doing 3 minute holds.

Thanks, I alread read another user (Monty) post who pretty much healed himself with VED  - he recommended only 10s holds too.

I just assumed the actual stretch from the inflated state of the penis in the VED is what helps, the 5-10 s hold makes sense too.

Yeah, @Monty is a living legend here.  :) What was your protocol exactly Monty?

personally ruined my EQ holding for longer than 1 min so I wouldn't try it

that being said everyone is different and I got attacked for sharing my experience
Onset of pain in March 2021
Progressed to loss of girth to dent under the glans left side

Been doing daily heat, traction, pentox, ved, cialis since initial onset of pain

Currently still experiencing pain and dent unchanged

I did two 3x3minute erection hold sessions every single day for six months and it didn't affect my erection quality one bit. For every 3 minute erection hold I pumped to the max so that my dick had very intense pressure and squeeze. I still get good erections, erections that point to the ceiling. Like I said before, I didn't get any benefits from these long erection holds, but absolutely no adverse effects either.

I've posted about this before, it's literally the only science backed protocol.

I used it for over a year, I am doing great.

So many protocols for your VED, all work for some, all cause problems for some, my suggesting to anyone new or having problems, would be start with 5 pumps hold for 5 then release, repeat this maybe 3 times, then move up 10 pumps hold for 5 release, repeat this til you get to full erection size this should take about maybe 10 minutes,  that should leave you 5 minutes pump up to max hold for 5 secs then release, as your penis gets used to the vacuum pressure then you can try some of the long hold protocols, just remember a VED cannot damage you, only you can do that by over pumping,

GOLDEN RULE, if you feeling pain stop.

enjoy your sessions, and get pleasure from them.
