does extended traction lead to penile instability?

Hi all

recently made a post about my progress
https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,15592.0.html
but sadly had another lump appearing opposite to the first one. while my curvature seems quite stable except a few deviations every now and again, it seems that the hinging and floppy glans is getting worse.

i am now wondering: does extended heavy traction (~0.6g, 4-6 hours a day) actually lead to an unstable penis long term? is lighter traction enough to maintain the gains and the plaques in a stretched state without potentially weakening the structure of the penis?

i might compensate with 2 VED sessions a day following the protocol instead. any advice would be much appreciated!

1.8 g Citrulline 2-3 g ALCAR, 6-8h daily with PM

For me I usually do light traction and VED EOD.  If it is to strong of a pull I will lighten the tension a bit. I am using the PMP.

Markdubby, I have never heard of this being the case and it hasn't been the case for me after well over 1000 hours of traction. It may have felt like this was the case earlier on. That said, I am a fan of lighter traction, so I don't know! You could certainly take a break. If anything, VED gave me more instability.

As for your 1 month keto diet, that simply is not enough to even adapt. It takes at least 3 months especially if you were eating fruit and spiking insulin regularly. You will gain weight and even gain muscle once your body adapts. There is no reason why you need fruit for nutrients whatsoever. Keto or even carnivore provides all the nutrients you need.

hi neo

thanks for your reply. in what way did VED give you instability? i've been doing some very light cycles (probably getting to 70% erection) following the protocol and to be honest my penis feels great afterwards! i don't plan on pushing it any further and continuing this way for 26 weeks.

currently i logged almost 500 hours of traction and am wondering if the constant pulling at high tension can have a detrimental effect as some days my hinging indentations seem worse. I have reduced the amount greatly over the last few days and can't see any change in curvature so am thinking of using less tension (around 0.4g for 2-3 hours a day) just to keep the scars gently stretched

with regards to the diet, keto just wasn't sustainable for me and i didn't feel that great doing it... i've reduced processed carbs a lot and switched to healthier/unprocessed options instead with loads of salads and fresh produce so will see how it goes!
