First of all - I'm so glad I found this community. It is hard to find information and support out there.

I am 25 years old, been married for almost 2 years to my HS sweetheart. I have officially been diagnosed with acute stage Peyronies Disease by 2 different urologists.

My penis slipped out during doggy and rammed into her pelvic bone about 3 months ago. It was sore for a few hours, but I didn't fully lose my erection and it felt fine the next morning. Flash forward a week and I was able to get a normal erection and have sex. About a month later, I started noticing some light pain in my erections and somewhat less strong erections.

This is when I went to my first urologist. He did feel a little bit of plaque and diagnosed me with acute Peyronies Disease. I wasn't fully satisfied so went to another urologist. They diagnosed me the same but prescribed me Pentoxifylline and Vitamin E.

I have now noticed (5 months post injury) for the last month or so that when erect, I have what looks to be an hourglass deformity and the shaft is bendable there during an erection. Basically the top and bottom are hard, but the middle is flexible almost like a pencil with a spring in the middle. It's hard to describe and I have yet to find anything online that says something similar. It makes penetration difficult so we have been abstaining for a while now.

I am fortunate enough to have good insurance and an HSA, so any treatment to make this better is on the table cost wise. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Sorry for your condition at such a young age
It is treatable... I like to say it's a question of time, resources and personal dedication as to which path you chose.  First and foremost find a urologist who deals with this day in and day out!  Not all urologists are the same.
My personal opinion on top docs are:
Larry Levine Chicago
Joel Gelman Orange County
Brian Christine Birmingham
All can be contacted for phone or teleconference

Welcome to the forum Graemegb,

the link to the Peyronies Survival Guide is https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,3180.0.html.  It is information-dense.  You should read it through then read it again with your wife so you are both on the same wavelength.

I would consider traction and/or a 3 cylinder VED.  Read the protocols and start cautiously with these devices.

I would research hyperthermia on the forum.  Caution, more heat is NOT better.  It can be dangerous.

Best of luck in the month ahead.

Welcome Graemegb!  Here you will find community.  Read and study up on peyronies and a search the forum.  VED and traction does help out a lot of us with the disease.  Don't get too caught up in the bad emotions associated with this as we have all experienced this too,  you will get through this!  I also have great insurance with an HSA which allows me great flexibility.  :)  Mike

I strongly endorse Benjamin62's advice. See one of those top doctors. I am seeing Dr. Levine in Chicago.

PS - I have severe hourglass and hinging
62YO, hourglass indent/hinging at base 30deg bend up 3cmx2cm hard plaque at dorsal base. No ED. 3 rounds Xiaflex decreased plaque/indent/hinge/bend. 1 year later, penis went from 7.5 to 5.5 in, but only 15 degree bend and no hinging.
