I am new guys and the fact there are so many things tried and very few people get back to near  normal is making me want to do nothing and just learn how to be a dickess being or just off myself.

My penis hurts when erect and it's getting worse. It twists to the left and my glans is wrinkled and caving.

Sorry, but the lack of success stories is crushing. Are there any complete recovery stories at all?? It seems the only people really happy are implant people.

Sorry.  I'm just so sad and devastated.

Honestly,  I just can't imagine life without sex. It's part of who I am. I have a high drive and a deep bond with my girl.

Are there any success stories out there at all besides implants?

Honestly not really and maybe there's is but they don't lost on here because they are better? But it seems like implant is the only way. Satisfaction rates seems really high. But it's a big step and surgery. I compare this to a balding man trying to hold on to his hair. They can try comb overs, rogaine, laser therapy, etc etc. but in the end everyone knows you're balding. It's not until you fully accept it and shave everything off or get hair implants. Just like this disease. We can fight it and fight it and maybe get some good results. Possible extend our sex life for a bit. But it will constantly be on our minds. No matter what. So is it worth this constant stress for years and years? Or just bite the bullet and get the implant. I do not know. I'm am dealing with this and trying to take it day by day.

I think your assessment is spot on. And some of what I have read about implant guys is they wished they'd done it sooner and hadn't wasted $$$ and stress and time on all the others.

I'm just not entirely sold on it feeling the same.

If it helps sandbo, from what I've read the perfect age to get implants is early 40s. Your natural sex ability to have perfectly firm erections loses only from this point onwards even if you don't have peyronies, it's a part of normal aging. In fact most people in their fifties claim they should have gotten it done earlier in their forties when they could have better sex. Keep in mind after 50, for some women sex drive drops after menopause, vaginal dryness etc. So you are really luck I would say.

Remeber that this disease is not a sprint but a marathon.  Keep reading and studying about peyronies.  Yes there are success stories, but you are still in the acute stage and are still having a difficult time emotionaly.  I can say that I was just where you were over a year ago in march 2020. It was devistating to me, but with patience and understanding I know I am going to get through this - and so will you!
