Hello everyone. I guess I'll start with a bit of an introduction.

October or so of 2020 I remember waking up with a painful erection. This was very infrequent to start, although it became more common... maybe a couple times a week in January and nightly in March. I went to my family doctor, whom asked if I had a bend in my penis, which I said no as at the time, although I noticed a slight indentation on the top (dorsal?) of my penis where I would put my thumb when I masturbated. This indentation is getting worse, although I rarely wake up with painful erections now which is strange. Now the worst part is the painful erections when being sexually active. It hurts quite a bit to start, but slowly goes away. This has also been getting worse.

My doctor told me to start with vitamin E, 3 times per day and started with some blood tests. I had an ultrasound on Wednesday and heard back from my doctor on Friday that it was suspected Peyronie's disease. I am waiting on an appointment with a urologist which can't come soon enough.

I am 36, married and have a very supportive spouse.

As I have not been officially diagnosed with peyronies, my doctor has said it is pretty likely. I am wondering if there was any advice the forum had in this interim time as I wait for my urologist appointment... is there anything I should be doing to slow the indentation from growing? I haven't been masturbating nearly as much as I used to. I have been taking vitamin e... keeping active and staying positive as best I can.

Thanks for reading! I will be reading quite a lot on this board, but any advice would be great.

Welcome DrBulk!  Here you will find a great understanding community of guys who have experienced just what you are going through now.  Read the survival guide and study it.

Make a list of questions that you would like to address to your Dr.  It is wonderful to have a spouse involved as they can calm the waves of emotions and maybe get a different view on things.

I have found in doing a forum search that many of my questions have already been dealt with.  Keep everyone posted.  :)  Mike
