Hello,
It started around 2015, I noticed two lumps in my penis on left and right sides just before the glans. I didnt know what it was and I didnt really pay any attention to it since it didnt hurt.

Then a couple of weeks later I was showing my hand to a orthopedic doctor due to lumps that I had in my palm (dupuytrens), and during his interview of me he asked me if my dick was straight. I was abit surprised by that question. First I said yes it's straight but then when he explained to me that there could be a connection between the disorders I told him about the lumps and got refered to an URO. Uro felt the lumps but said that it would be ok and that I shouldnt worry. "Come back if it get worse". I never went back.

It has progressed a bit and one of the lumps developed into an indentation on the left side. The lump on the right side healed ok and is barely visible.
At that point my dick was still straight but a short while later for unknown reasons it also started to bend upwards, starting from about an inch from base. Maybe the bend was due to some other micro injury, I dont know. Now its around 28 degrees dorsal but its hard to measure due to that erection quality varies, it might be more.

My erections are solid and strong and I do get nightly erections almost every night, so no dysfunction there as of yet.

Lengthwise Im not sure of how much I have lost, maybe 0,5-1cm max but I dont like the look of it anymore.

Im now definitely in the stable phase due to all the time that has passed. One of my main issues is that I cant stop thinking about it and I do worry about possible further progression of the curvature.

In mars I started traction (andro peyronie). I know that some doesnt like it but Im thinking that traction is traction and Im using it gently. So far I have around 150 hours of traction performed but no difference noted in length or curvature. Maybe change in curvature to the better is unlikely in the chronic stage?

Other than all this missary Im happily married and got 3 healthy kids.

So what are your suggestions? Continue traction, or just live with it?

Thanks for this great forum, its a tresure for us affected for sure. You make a huge difference!

Welcome to the forum.  Thanks for filling in your signature line.  It helps a lot, especially with future posts.

I assume if you filled in your signature line, you probably read the survival guide.  If not, it is a must-read  ---->https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,3180.0.html

Like you, I believe traction is traction and that the only issues are the intensity of tension and how long it is applied.   I would continue traction and consider increasing tension and duration, depending on what you are doing currently.  If you do this for 6 months with no progress, then I would reduce it to 1 hour 3 days a week to maintain and not lose to any future flare-ups.  Maybe you can do it while getting ready in the morning or when you first lay down in bed.

hey there

out of experience you need a lot of hours of traction. before seeing any effect. have some patience and see how it goes! i had great results after 400 hours, but i started pretty much as soon as i saw a curvature, if you are in the chronic phase it might take a bit longer! after how long did you scar heal?
30, ~20-30 degrees right bend beginning of 02/2021. Small plaque under gland on right side of the shaft
04/21 Plaque right side under glans
07/21 plaque by base
10 deg curvature at base + narrowing
1.8 g Citrulline 2-3 g ALCAR, 6-8h daily with PM

Thanks for the response! I will continue traction and wish for results when I get further down the road.

It was a long time ago when I got the first two lumps that resulted in a indentation on left side. Its like a small crater that wont expand during erection. Not sure but maybe a year or so for healing. But honestly I dont really remember. Sorry about that.

When it comes to whats causing the dorsal curve, I never noticed and lumps there. It just started to bend probably gradualy due to repeated micro trauma, like when girl is on top. Might have felt a bit sore after that kind of sex.
