Traction for Slight Indentation
« on: May 01, 2021, 05:38:30 PM »

Can Restorex help with a slight indentation? If so, how would one use the device for an indentation?  Thanks very much.

Definitely!

https://www.restorex.com/faq/can-the-restorex-device-help-treat-indentation-or-hourglassing/

I don't believe there is a more optimal way to use RestoreX for indentations/hourglassing. You probably should just follow the standard guidelines as explained in the instructions and their website. You might also try to reach out to their customer support, I've heard they are responsive and helpful.

benraycampO - Again, thanks so much for your help and for the link.  Since the dent that just appeared on the right side of my shaft, after having peyronies for a long time, isn't curving in any direction, so I don't know how to counter bend.  Again, many thanks!

Definitely. RestoreX has improved my indentation dramatically (only was noticeable when semi-erect, hardly when erect). It also helps alleviate hard flaccid (at least in my case). I would recommend, I was just over 7 inches pre Peyronies, went to 6.5, after 3 months of RestoreX, I’m at 7.5 inches, although I’m not entirely sure how that’s possible.

Good luck!

How do you use the device if no curve just hourglassing? I emailed restore X but they said to speak to my urologist! Considering they invented it I thought they would be little bit more forthcoming. Also they stated all trial members had a curve. Some had hourglassing as well. bepatient had great results with hourglass.

FYI: I just got off a video call with Dr. Trost. I have hourglassing and denting about 1 inch from my body. I have some hinging but no curve at this point. He said to do straight stretching but then also do counter bending down, left, and right to really stretch all areas (top and each side) of my hourglassing and dent area.

He said when doing the counter bend, at least for me with the area being at the base and also not addressing a curve directly, to not go more than 30 degrees. He said we are just looking for some additional targeted stretching. He said to really bury the white lines to get the proper tension, which I have not historically done.

He also said the data shows no difference at 30, 60, 90 minutes so there is no need to do more time and that instead consistency is key.

Urologist had me start Vit E, Pentox, Cialis, RestoreX. I also started VED, H100, and all supplements in the guide.

Thanks Dorian. Your recommendation may get me to finally buy Restorex and give it a try. I also have hour glassing and denting about 1 inch from my body. 3 rounds of Xiaflex have helped, but I still have plaque and some hinging.

Restorex hasn't been that successful for denting or hourglass.

Yes, I did have about 50% improvement and can now have sex in certain positions, but wondering if I can get back to 75+% rigidity in my hinge to have sex in missionary position. Maybe I am being greedy?

And Tony is right, not much evidence that Restorex works for hourglassing/hinge. Hmmm...maybe not greedy but grasping at straws to get even closer to my former self. Just thinking out loud....thanks for keeping me in check...

Shane, The only way to get near 100 percent to prevent hinging, buckling is to have extra tunical grafting (ETG), it is a surgical procedure. That avoids cutting into your tunica so little to no risk of worsened erectile function. It puts a graft over your point of narrowing, buckling on top of tunica, then your native tunica tissue grows on top of the graft over a few months. Read up on extra tunical grafting developed by Dr. Lue.

Shane, The only way to get near 100 percent to prevent hinging, buckling is to have extra tunical grafting (ETG),

While that might, in your view, be the best way or the least risky, it is NOT the ONLY way.  There IS evidence traction works on hourglass deformity.  Pentox enhances that. There are successful excision and grafting that do NOT result in Erectile Dysfunction.  Some men do have significant improvement with Xiaflex. Implants overcome significant deformity with perfect girth and stability.  Three cylinder VED's show improvement in hourglass deformity. There are Extra Tunical Grafting surgeries that fail.  Remember, thousands of men who are not even members search these posts.  Let's keep it real.

If you mean "I think extra grafting surgery offers the most likely fix with the least drawbacks for an immediate fix," then say that.

One thing I would like to add, you really don't need to spend the money on the restore device. QEP works as well, as I'm sure other devices that pretty much do the same thing.
