Hi guys, I'm a 21 year old boy from London. I suffer from a total Erectile Dysfunction, I don't manage to maintain an erection longer than 10-15 seconds, and It's very very difficult for me to make an erection occur. I started to notice this problem only the last year, because only the last year I tried to have sex with other women, and I experienced in all of these situations a total Erectile Dysfunction. I come to the point: I have noticed that when I have an erection I have a curvature that leads me to pain and creates redness on my penis right in the part where I have a curvature. The ultrasound has confirmed that I have an important curvature on my penis, and so I suffer from peyronie's disease, because that curvature has been due to an uncorrect masturbation protracted for a very long time. My question is: in your opinion and based in your experience, Is possible that peyronie's disease leads to a total Erectile Dysfunction? I underline that when my andrologist executed the doppler to my penis, stimulating the erection with a very strong stimulant of erection I felt like the erection was hold back my something (from the curvature, maybe?) and was not at the maximum. Thank you.

A couple questions:

  • Do you remember having that curvature always? Or did you notice that the curvature came on progressively over time?
  • You mentioned completing an ultrasound. Did your doctor see any scarring or plaques on the ultrasound? Did your doctor diagnose you with Peyronie's Disease?
  • It also seems like you mention doing a doppler ultrasound with an injection to induce an erection. The results of this ultrasound will show whether you have a vascular cause of Erectile Dysfunction (arterial disease and/or venous leak). What did the andrologist tell you?

It seems you have taken some good medical steps in the right direction. Please share what your doctor and urologist determined after examining you and running tests.

Dr. Levine says it's not Peyronie's Disease but a slow healing wound. Saw him Mar 21 and May 21.
Traction (PMP) and supplements per Dr. Levine's recommendation.

1. I sure didn't have this curvature always. I remember that when I was younger I didn't have It
2. My doctor saw plaques on the ultrasound and so he diagnoses Peyronie's disease
3. Yeah, a vascular cause has been resulted from the doppler ultrasound (venous leak). In the opinion of my doctor peyronie's disease could cause this venous leak. Anyway, I and my doctor haven't made decisions yet about what to do, we have to examine all of the possibilities.
And what is your opinion? Do you think that peyronie's disease may cause this total erectile dysfunction?

Thanks for sharing the details.

Have you tried any treatments for your Peyronie's Disease? Pentox + Cialis + L-arginine are the common 3 oral therapies. It is discussed more in the Survival's Guide I linked you to in your intro post. Combining oral therapies with mechanical therapies such as traction and VED give you the best chance to correct deformity and potentially reverse Erectile Dysfunction.

Peyronie's Disease can be a cause of Erectile Dysfunction, usually due to the plaques preventing the proper occulding of veins (venous leak). Due to your age, and I am assuming you are otherwise healthy, it makes sense why your doctor believes you Erectile Dysfunction symptoms are caused by Peyronie's plaques.

What are the possible next steps according to your doctor? Also, is he/she a Peyronie's specialist?

giancolo: what have you tried so far in terms oh therapies? and what exactly have you read about ED and how it is treated and what the medical community recommends you do?

Cialis 2.5 or 5mg and l-arginine help out a lot of guys, and it is safe.

So far I have not tried nothing in relation to therapy, because we have discovered that I have peyronie disease only few days ago. The situation will evolve. I'd like to hear your opinions about this aspect: a lot of people say that if one person stops masturbation and porn, he will heal naturally from Erectile Dysfunction. I have practised nofap for 4-5 months but not results (maybe I had to do nofap for at least one year). In your opinion, will my Erectile Dysfunction be healed by quitting forever with masturbation and porn, or by fixing my peyronie's disease?

However, in order to answer to your questions: my former doctor says to me to take 5 mg of cialis everyday to heal my Erectile Dysfunction, and gave me also one pillow to increase testosterone. Now I have another doctor, who says that there is not hormonal problems and that maybe peyronie's disease may cause Erectile Dysfunction. Anyway, my new doctor agrees with the former doctor about the importance to take cialis everyday to cure Erectile Dysfunction.

It depends on the cause of your Erectile Dysfunction. Porn Induced Erectile Dysfunction (PIED) is very different than a venous leak. PIED means a man has overtrained his brain with repeated porn stimuli that a real woman won't turn him on or keep him erect. Another type of ED is where one has desensitized his penile nerves to a certain amount of pressure (death grip syndrome). That hard stimulation isn't present during sex, which makes it hard for him to keep his erection since he doesn't feel the lighter stimulations anymore.

Both PIED and Death Grip Syndrome are usually 100% cureable through NoFap. This is because simply staying away from porn will allow you to "re-train" your brain to enjoy normal girls. For Death Grip Syndrome, unless SEVERE damage was done to the nerves (of which you certainly would be aware of), simply abstaining can allow the nerves to heal and re-sensitize themselves so that you can feel lighter touches.

Since your doctor has diagnosed you with a venous leak, this means there is a vascular cause to your ED. From my understanding, there are no cures of venous leak (besides a penile implant) but there are ways to manage it depending on the severity. You should talk with your doctor to see how severe the venous leak actually is to get a better idea of how to approach solutions.

For now, the only reasonable next step is to take daily cialis as your doctor prescribed and start looking at solutions for your Peyronie's Disease. Adding in Pentox (400mg x3) and L-arginine (1000mg x2) are good oral therapies to add in. You should also look into traction and VED therapy.

Sorry to break it down to you, but ED has no cure. There are treatments that resolve it like the implant, but it doesn't heal. Porn induced ED or psychogenic ED is different from vascular ed. Those one's do have a cure. Venous leak or arterial insufficiency they don't. Right now you are hopping from doctor to doctor, and that is not helping you out. You need to take a step back, find a doctor that is reputable; that hopefully you can afford. You also need to learn as much as you can, FROM REPUTABLE SOURCES! on ED.  Start by reading the survival guide on this board, and the follow up with checking this video. https://menmd.com/webinars/peyronies-disease-traction-therapy-online-clinic/ It's almost 1 hour long, but watch it all. There is amazing information there on peyronies and what works and what doesn't.

It won't cure it, but it helps a lot with your erections and penile health: 5mg daily cialis, 2.500mg of L-argigine and you may or may not use it with Pentox. If you can tolerate it. But there is no evidence on the medication's success. Traction and VED are recommended for peyronies and they do work.

Keep us posted.

I would add a large spectrum of antioxidants in the advises doses , after a visit to a serious andrologist. It could slow down the progression of the disease.

Hi to all of you, my friends. The update is that I went to another specialist who made me an ultrasound and said he is sure my penis hasn't any plaque and so in this doctor's opinion I don't have peyronie's disease definitely. I have been doing the cure of cialis for 40 days more or less and I'm also on the 40 day of Nofap but unfortunately not results until now. No spontaenous erections, no morning wood, only weak erections when sexual thoughts come in my mind.

In the untrasound with an induced erection, did they test your penis inflow and outflow blood rate to determine if their is a physical cause of your ED ?

There are news my friends, I'm more confused than before. One week ago the doctor prescribed me another ultrasound for today, because he said there was a little chance that my diagnosed venous leak was due to my anxiety in the ultrasound. Today I have had another ultrasound with erected penis and, according to this new ultrasound, venous leak is not present, but there is only a slight arteriogenic problem. Although I was not anxious during the ultrasound ( because I already experienced ultrasound!) my induced erection was not firm enough, it was at 50 %.
Answer to Gauss Rifle: The inflow and outflow blood has not been written in the diagnosis. There is only written "venous leak", but today another ultrasound has proved that there isn't any venous leak but only a slight arteriogenic problem.
Answer to pfract: yeah my friend your post has been very useful for me, 15 days ago I ordered in internet pills of arginine. In your opinion are the pills good or is liquid arginine  better?
Answer to hawk: I have just filled my signature line. Thank you for reminding me.

My understanding of the term arteriogenic suggests an artery occlusion and your body compensating by creating other small blood vessels to bypass the occlusion.  Ask - What is concluding it???
Ask - How can it be a slight problem if it results in TOTAL ED?  I would literally say, "it might be a slight problem to your doc but it is one hell of a monumental problem to me."

Hey giancolo: as far as i know, the medical papers don't mention anything about not taking liquid. But they do mention the maximum quantity to be 2.5mg max, when used in conjunction with cialis. At this point, and after reading your posts, i suggest you start experimenting with medication for ED (like it sounds that you are doing). Try the leading medications. Cialis daily, avanafil, viagra.... use it in conjunction with l-argigine and see if it nets improvements in your ED. Also, some people use medication in conjunction with a VED. They found that it helps with achieving an erection.

GaussRifle

It seems like you already take 5mg cialis everyday. Can you try taking a booster dose on top before sex. Although, I know it sounds wierd but you actually need to be really turned on with the women you are having sex with. Please start daily traction with restoreX if you haven't already. That will greatly improve your nocturnal erections which are essential in improving health of penis and allows you to get erections easier in daytime.
