Hi guys, I visited three urologist the first two told me I was developing a plaque but this doctor noticed I got Seroma the collection of fluids under my penile skin causing the pain and slowing the healing process. Have you seen this case before? I know it's a rare condition because Seroma is usually seen in patients who get surgery. The Urologist gave me to months for my body to adsorb the fluids if it doesn't I have to get surgery. It's scary

It is great news, but if the new treatment fails to drain the fluid they have to put the skin down to get to the shaft where the fluid is. It sounds risky.

What diagnostic tools did they use to give this diagnosis? Or did they just do a physical exam.

Penis injury in late 2017. A lump formed at injury site that caused no deformity, just pain and a palpable lump. Pain is improving through proper rest and use, diet, and mindfulness. I am always learning and looking to share things that have helped.

Penile Doppler ultrasound.
The first two urologist did a physical exam, they felt the hardened seroma so they thought it was a plaque.

What do you think triggered it?

I’ve had penile swelling issues from the VED injury and it lasted nearly two years.

Actually, I still have some issues with it now nearly 6 years later.

Hi NeoV, I'm sure it was chronic swelling in the affected area, even though my penis looked normal after a week I needed a longer treatment 14 days wasn't enough. I had penile swelling every time after sex until it started to hurt.
