So I broke my penis in the past; things are under examination; might get fixed soon.

In the past I lacked the courage to speak it out and seek help, now I'm past that.

I think I might've slipped up in confiding this to someone not fully trustworthy (the doubt an sich says enough), a little too much of a blabbermouth...

Now I can't help but wondering if it really should be such a big deal if someone else were to find out.

To me, it would be more of a big deal considering the fact that I couldn't fully trust the person, rather than other people having found out about this, through him.

So, my question is:

Why, like really why, does it matter when someone else finds out about you having this problem?
What makes it that more 'shameful' and 'taboo' compared to other issues?

Besides:

- becoming a victim of other's low morale.
- getting girlfriends worried about bedroom discretion.
- having your privacy invaded by unwanted people.

Other than these, I'm stuck guessing; and I somehow can't help but wondering if that stuff really matters...

How do you guys handle this?

Somehow it feels like the more I'm worried about other people their opinion, the more I'm denying and repressing this part of myself...

First I would like to ask you to please fill out your profile and signature ---> https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,10819.0.html . More people will respond to your post when you give us more immediate info about you and your current condition.  I had to go searching back to your first post to learn more about what happened, what treatments, etc......

I can tell you now that you should have shared what happened to you at the onset of all of this, but that is in the past now. You definitely should not be condemned or ashamed of any of this!!  Your penis is no different than your ear or arm or eyeball as far as you are concerned.  If it is broken it needs to be fixed.  Share with whoever you trust as this will give you some peace of mind and you should get a Doppler ultrasound to get a better idea what's going on.

No it does not matter at all. Telling people can work for you, not against you.
