Just got back from my second injection. Was told to remove the bandage after 1 hour. I have some swelling at the injection sight. Its not huge swelling and there is no discoloration. Slight stinging pain very brief. Im not sure what to do about it. He said swelling is normal, and maybe take a cold shower. I was told take tylenol for pain. First injection was beggining of the week and it wasnt bad at all. Just 3 days later i started having alot of pain and shrinkage. Also was not able to get full erections to do another pic. He said all this is normal. This whole thing makes me so nervous.

Does anyone know. Should i take a cold shower for the swelling?

I would offer advice but I am not really a proponent of Xiaflex.  I am happy you are not experiencing any real major issues like I did.  I wish you success!

not sure about a cold shower. At this early stage it's going to be very tender. I would gently apply an ice pack to it.

I applied ice. Its not painful, its really ugly looking though. Like pockets of pooled blood closer to the glans. Also discoloration/bruising. How big does it have to swell before we become concerned and have to get it drained?

Sounds like you have hematomas like I did.  Mine were the size of grapes.  If they get that size I would definitely go to the ER

Well 1 month later and seems this just made things alot worse. I. In pain almost everyday again. And its curving more and i get inflammation daily. Doc says i have no choice but to keep going. Basically aggravated and made the plaque bigger. Did the stretching, half the time there was some pain so i didnt keep up. Also made it smaller. And its now twisting. Im mostly thinking im going to stop. I have 3 viles left out of 4.

So, just let ppl know about potential ill effects. My first round was a disaster. My penis is hardened and shrunken and more curved. I am able to penetrate, but its very painful. I dont even think surgery will save me. The hardening is so prominent it is running a good length of the underside of my penis. I cum very fast since this. Its over for me and this will likely be my last post for a very long timr. So warning if u have endless inflammation and pain dont do xiaflex. My penis is a shrunken hardend bendy pencil now. I just dont know what else to say. My doc says to resume once it is stable. I really dont think its a good idea.

Update 6 months later, I have extreme shortening from 1 round of xiaflex. It is about 3 inches and bends downward at the base. I started out with 5.3inches. I keep hearing that this is impossible, but it is infact possible. Read a post that adverse affects can happen to some men that get hematoma and do not follow protocol. I was told hematoma is normal, and to keep stretching which I was trying to do manually, the pain was more prominent with even light stretching, the hematoma I had was very small and I was told was normal and there was nothing I could do about it anyway.

You guys have to write it on the "Doctor" office reviews, so many of the " therapies" for Peroynes are actually making the disease worse, these "Doctors" care less, they just want to make money, they are garbage.
