How are you using your PMP?

Hey guys,

Got my PMP in late march and have been using it everyday for 8 hours at mild tension. I absolutely love how comfortable and easy to use it is. I certainly feel the tension in my penis when I use it, and when I start to feel pain, I lower the tension.

My question for you is; how often are you using your PMP, and at what tension?

I really want to ramp up the tension and handle the Peyronies that I've had my whole life. However, I am certainly hesitant, and I feel that Id do more harm than good if I added too much tension. I certainly see more length and thickness which is great, but certainly no reduction in curvature. I plan to be using this device for the next few years, and I am defiantly hopeful. In addition to the PMP for 8 hours daily, I do 30 minutes of counter bending afterwards.

hey!

i've been using the pmp for 6-8 hours a day and have been seeing some nice reduction in curvature after around 2 months of use (approx 330 hours now). with regards to increasing tension i usually test it by seeing what the max tensions the rods can provide is. when my penis gets used to it (eg its not as firm at maximum tensions), i continue for another week then add the smallest increment. as always listen to your body and take it slow!

hope that makes sense

I use it about 6 hours a day at the 3rd line.  I'm approaching around 6 months of usage.  I am interested at how do you do your counter bending for 30 minutes?

I'm starting tractio with the pmp.
I put tension of 0g (no lines hired) and even though I feel much tension.
Can't imagine how would feel 600g of tension.
Do you guys started directly with such tension?

No, step by step. Means: Starting with 1 hour and like you without hiring any line. After a few days increase up to 2 hours and so on.

Just gradual tension day by day for short periods of time. Then the next week you can add a little more time and keep the tension where you started or add a little more tension.  The idea is to get your glans conditioned to the device.  Some men have problems using the glans chamber and iit takes a while to get accustomed to it.

Hey there, Sorry for the late response. Ive found the PMP very useful so far. In regards to countermanding, when I take the device off for a break, I counter bend for about 10 minutes in the opposite direction of my curve. I'll take a break at least 3 times a day, so that would be 30 minutes of countermanding in total. I hope this answers your question.

I don't understand your question. Just wear this device 2-3 hours, break, wear another 2-3 hours and so on. Sometimes a few hours in the morning, then another hours in the evening...

Do you guys re-adjust tension (with the screw of the rods) when changing your body posture?

Nolte, what I meant to say was do you use the belt or extensive rods? Can you walk around with the extensive rod set up or belt on?

Oh okay. I wear the rod system the most time. Yes, I can walk around with it, but not driving a car. Sitting, laying and walking works fine for me.

I am really not liking this thing.  I'm nervous about hiring myself again. I think I have done some nerve damage to my glans and my plaque is right below. This tugginhvin my gkans feels like I could do more damage.  Plus, I'm not sure how much too stretch.  I wish this thing had a better WA of showing how much you are stretching it.

Any advice? Would restorex be better?

I've been using this on and off for over a year, but not nearly often enough or long enough to make much of a difference. I find the rods uncomfortable when sitting or standing (plus very indiscreet so impossible to use when kids around or at work) and the belt though a little  better doesn't seem to provide enough traction. I also had to stop for a while as I developed a rash on my glans, probably harmless but didn't want to risk aggravating my condition. I'm now trying to combine it with VED to get the benefit of two different methods, which might make up for not being able to wear the PMP for 4+ hours a day. Those of you who wear the rods, how do you manage to do that while leading a normal life and working?
Diagnosed in 2019 initially ventral indentation, hourglassing w/ slight rightward curve
In 2020 developed dorsal curvature, ~70 deg
Tried traction (PMP), VED, heat, vitamin E, no change
Modified Nesbit surgery Dec 2022, <10 deg

I personally work from home so it sure helps. I also found clothes which make the use of the rod expander almost unnoticeable. Something like training pants and a hoodie should do the trick. Of course you can't wear that all the time  :-[
37yo
First symptoms Jan 2021: pain and slight curve to the left below glans. Since then, fibrosis took over half the shaft. Lost 3.5cm in length and some girth
Tried iontophoresis, pentox + supplements (VED + traction irregularly)
Considering implant

I am basically on medical leave so I use it at home. I also have a larger pair of sweat pants cut off to keep things concealed. When I wear the device pointing down it is of no concern.

Wear the belt during the day and the rods at night under track pants, pyjamas or a dressing gown.

Do you sleep with the rods on? I tried but found it too uncomfortable - mainly the pressure on the pubic area irritates me after a while. The belt is fine but not sure it provides enough traction?

I do not wear it when I am sleeping at night. I sometimes take an afternoon nap and if I am wearing it then I just leave it on with no problems.
