I bought RestoreX and started a little over 7 weeks ago. Me: 55, upward curve, if I measured right according to advice on this site it's a curve of 45 degrees.

After about 2 weeks it felt more comfortable to wear. I suggest cotton balls if your skin around the base burns. Now I don't need cotton.

About the same time, maybe even sooner, I noticed how good my flaccid penis looked. Thick and long. The testicles seemed fuller too.

My penis also felt very alive and comfortable. In the past with Peyronie's when whipping it out to pee it would on its own sway left to right and I wouldn't even feel it, like a kind of paralysis. Now I feel fully connected to my penis.

In the early weeks I started getting hard while sleeping. I'd wake up hard, so that encouraged me. I still cling to Cialis but I can get fairly hard now without it.

The angle position for the first few weeks I wasn't going past the 2nd click. Now in Week 7 I'm at position 4 comfortably.

About week 5 I advanced to the extension rods.

So the big question after 7 weeks would be Is RestoreX working on the curve? I say yes. Yesterday I got hard and looked profile in the mirror and unless I'm wishfully imagining things I think it's straighter. In the past the curve went from the base immediately to curving upwards to the tip. Yesterday I had the overwhelming sensation that what I was seeing was now from the base to the midpoint STRAIGHTNESS, and then from the midpoint or so curving up. If I wasn't imagining things I am progressing. But I know it's a slow progress. I'm optimistic and planning on committing to well beyond the 12 weeks suggested.

Stay hopeful. I am. Look at it this way. People with crooked teeth wear traction and straighten their smiles. People with curvature of the spine wear traction or braces and straighten their spines. People with bone fractures use traction to straighten the bone. So teeth, bones, your spine, are all hard and all straighten out with tractions. Why wouldn't a soft tissue organ do the same?

I will post more progress as I go along.

Wishing you all success as well.

Good to hear, JohnVermont!  I am on week five with restorex and have not seen much improvement on the curve, although overall feel and ability to get and stay hard have improved.  I use restorex as directed, but I also have a traction device that I wear just to keep things "hanging" and to avoid the turtling effect.  We are the same age, so I'm eager to hear about your continued success.

Hey there

i'm interested in your post. Mainly because you said you have that sway when you pee, I have that too, and when you said you are feeling connected to your penis.

I have this disconnected feeling.  No one has ever described it that way.

First I have multiple plaques but not a whole lot of curve 10-15 degree upward, and very slight twist to the left

i have been trying to reduce the plaque size....When this started i immediate did the Priapus shot , and the plaque that it was injected into definatley subsided to where i cant feel it.  But there is more plaque, Im using the PenimasterPro when it a fantastic device, I have restorX but barley use it....I feel like time under tension does more, but i also feel that disconnected feeling since using it.....Can you describe that in a bit more detail ?

I don't really know how to describe it other than in the past I would whip it out to pee and I wouldn't even feel it. It would sway left to right with a mind of its own. Since RestoreX I guess I got the blood flow pumping in there so I feel it now.

I'd like to also get the PenimasterPro if I don't see great results with RestoreX. Thanks.

The manual shows you how to set the device. I didn't even bother measuring. Just from eyeballing I knew where the curve was and where best to set it. But the good news for you is I saw in a video of Dr. Trost, the inventor, that it's not that important to get it precisely right.

I would recommend watching videos of his. You can google Dr. Landon Trost. For me, I'm treating it as if he's my doctor, he prescribes a program for me. It keeps me doing it. I'm at week 9 now. I missed probably 4 individual sessions in the 9 weeks, even though I haven't missed a day. It's only a half hour twice a day but even that can get hard to do when life gets in the way. But as I said, I'm at week 9 and have not missed more than 4 sessions. I see myself doing this for a year. I really think it's going to work.

What kind of erectile dysfunction do you have? Did you still have pain from the bend or curvature? When did you get the bend? I'm looking at your signature and it just says you have a bend but not when the onset was or if you had pain or if you were in acute stage or chronic

Chronic stage. Fortunately I don't have any pain. I did in the very beginning when I first got it.

I've had this condition for several years but never did anything really. I tried another traction device years back but never had the time or discipline to do it for any length of time.

The Erectile Dysfunction sucks. I still need Cialis but I also can get hard at times without it.

I believe with RestoreX I will go the distance with treatment and eventually fix all.

12 week point update...

Lots of improvements. I am hopeful with 3 to 6 more months I'll be back to my old self. Why am I so hopeful? Well I've seen good results so far...

My soft penis has not looked this good since before getting Peyronie's. The thickness is back and the length! Peyronies Disease caused the penis to atrophy. I would pee sitting down and the penis wouldn't even hang down, that's how small it had become. I would pee and the pee would go straight out over my clothes and the floor if I didn't hold it pointed down.  But NOW? Love it. If I should sit to pee my long penis just drops down like it always did.

Another improvement. Well throughout Peyronies Disease if I held my penis to pee or if I was in the shower washing it I felt along the underside of the penis the sensation that the penis was curving DOWN, even though to the eye it didn't look that way and even though erect my curve is UP. But running my hand along the underside I felt as if it was curving down. Well I don't have that feeling anymore! It feels straight.

Today I did my thing to get it hard and observe. I was very happy to see my penis was thick and I'm certain longer. I also think the dent at the right base which caused a slight bend to the right (in addition to the curve up I have) is filled in more. And proof is my dick was straight erect, not to the right.

Yes, it's still curved upwards, but it's only been 3 months and at least half of that time was my penis getting acclimated to the traction device and advancing with it. Now I feel like if I do another 3 months with strong traction like I'm up to doing now, I'm going to see great results.

I never did any measurement before except the degree of the curve. I will do another one of that this week. I believe there's some good change there just from looking at it.

I never measured the length with Peyronies Disease. Why? That's easy. I was so devastated by the obvious significant loss that I couldn't bear reading the actual number. I always had a 7 inch penis and I know that if I extend by thumb and index finger in separate directions the wingspan perfectly fit my hard penis in the old pre Peyronie's days. So today I extended the thumb and index finger and "measured" that way and was very, very happy. Not quite back to the old me but close! I'll take it.

About 3 or 4 times a day I keep whipping it out just to admire it in the mirror. LOL I'm not a narcissist. I just know what devastation Peyronies Disease brought to me and to see these improvements brings me tremendous joy.

There's no easy fix. You have to commit to doing the traction 2 sessions a day every day for months and months. Patience is key. There is no fast answer. Use plenty of tender tape. Signature brand is my favorite. Use cotton balls for sensitive areas.

If I don't see any further improvement I'll still be happy. My soft penis is totally back. It's thick and long. And my hard penis looks good too. I just want the curve improved and I believe with the strong traction I'm up to that this is going to happen.

To say I was thrilled looking at my hard dick today is an understatement. Still a long way to go on the curve but it's all happening. I see it and feel it.

I have started a more comfortable approach. I place gauze around the base between my skin and the blue ring. I've also started instead of going to position 4 right away I do 5 minutes at 3 and then go to position 4 for 15 minutes. It makes it much easier.

I think the tape you use matters. I use either signature brand tender tape or band aids no hurt tape. putting a lot of it helps with comfort and I'm guessing the tape aids in holding the head secure in the clamp.

I'm getting great traction now. 12 weeks ago I was using the smaller extension rods. now I'm using the larger and I'm at 6 clicks and doing position 4.

I am looking forward to the next 12 weeks of this maximum traction. I'm sure I will see more results.

I'm on my first week with Restorex, how exactly did you use the cottonballs for comfort? Even with soft gauze and tape i feel like my head is going to get ripped off. And how long did it take for you to really bury the white line? It feels terrifying to work up to that level of tension but maybe thats because I can't seem to find a comfortable clamping setup yet.

Also any tips on keeping the head of the penis clamped in the device? Have tried gauze, sponge, tape - still slips out or reduces level of traction.

15 weeks update.

Very happy with this progroess even if the curve is still there. The curve seems flatter, improved.

Length and thickness have returned. I'm guessing I've regained an inch of the about 2 lost.

My penis no longer tilts to the right. The dent at the base is mostly gone.

I love how my penis and testicles look flaccid and when erect I am seeing great improvement.

I like the length and thickness and the fact it is back to straight up, although still curved.

But the curve has improved. I am guessing 3 to 6 months with this strong traction and I'm going to be back to normal.

I've advanced to the extended rods and to the 8th click. That is dramatic considering I couldn't use the extended rods for awhile.

My erectile dysfunction has been cured. The device and stretching gets the blood flowing.

Well, for the first time in years I like my dick again. I still want a lot more improvement on the curve but to see where I was and what I look like now is a gift.

Rome wasn't built in a day. This is a slow process, but I see it happening.

I've also started to eat healthy. No sugar, few carbs. If this is a disease of inflammation then I don't want to eat foods that inflame.

Good Luck All!

I used the cotton between the blue ring and whatever skin was burning. I no longer need it.

As for the white line, the manual gives two ways to begin with the device. I use the second way. Bring the whole unit to the smallest closed position. After slipping your penis through ring extend the device a few clicks, or 1 click, whichever is comfortable.

Then press down on device to release tension rods. You won't be seeing the white lines that way.

Good luck!!

Today I masturbated and was overjoyed observing my penis. It looks so good I measured it. I have never measured the length all the years I've had this because it was devastating enough to guess with my eyes that I probably lost 3, at least 2 inches.

But things look so good now I decided to measure. Yay!! I'm only 1 inch shorter.

I no longer tilt to the right since the dent closed. Now I just have still some curve but nothing like it used to be!

Unless I look at my penis from directly at the side it doesn't even look like I have Peyronies Disease!

Congrats on your progress!  I have a question, for your dent- did you focus on a particular counterbend direction?  Or did you just focus on the main curve and counterbend downward, then the dent also filled out at the same time on the right side?

I don't worry about the dent anymore since it improved to the point where the penis no longer tilts right.

Hi John,

Sorry I was not clear in my question.  You had a dent at one time and a curve upward.  When you had such a dent, did you specifically use the counterbend option from the Restorex at times just for that dent to fix it?  If so what direction did you bend?  Logic might say you bent to the left?  Or did you always ignore working on the dent, but yet it filled out on its own as you focused the counterbending on the main curve?

I hope this better explains my questions.

6 month Update!!!

I'm very, very happy with results...

A. Just from eyeballing, since I refused to originally measure because seeing a length loss on a ruler would've devastated me psychologically, I can tell I have gained back 2 inches. At my worst I believe I had lost 3. I'm about just 1 inch from original. I know because way before Peyronies Disease if I extended/separated my index finger and thumb (making like a gun) my erect penis would fit perfectly in the space and it was 7 inches. I still won't yet get a ruler but I'm very happy with length improvement. I'm certain 2 inches is back!

B. Flaccid I not only am back 100% it looks even thicker and longer. This is a tremendous morale boost. It feels so comfortable in my pants as opposed to shrinkage of the past.

C. The upward bend has greatly improved! Yeah I still have a bend but there is dramatic improvement. In the past with Peyronies Disease my dick hard resembled the letter C. All curve from base to top. Now from the base to midpoint of the shaft it is STRAIGHT. The curve still comes upwards but not as sharp and it only begins at the top 3rd.

I'm extremely happy how it now looks hard. Yes it still curves, yes there's still a little dent too, but the dent is not as severe and as I said the upward curve has greatly improved. And having 2 inches back makes me teary eyed with joy.

D. I still think I could benefit from Cialis but I get nicely hard now!!

I seriously believe that if I keep doing this that in a few maybe 6 months more I will have all the length back and most of the curve cured.

I'm hoping.

The progress has been such that if there would be no more improvement I could live with that! I went from having this devastating condition for 8 years to getting Restorex and 6 months later seeming half cured.

I have decided to up the amount of time in traction just to see if it speeds the process. I've read on the Restorex site it does not. So don't do it. I'm just giving my honest situation.

I went on vacation for 2 weeks without Restorex and was bummed to feel and see regression. But 2 weeks back to doing it again I returned to all previous gains

After 8 years I'm kinda in love with my dick again LoL

Wishing you all hope and peace throughout this cruel disease.

PS I just took a shower and wanted to admire so I got hard and looking straight on in the bathroom mirror there was NO WAY anyone would see Peyronie's! Straight on it is all straight.

Of course when I turn profile that is where I still see Peyronies Disease, but the upward curve as I've said is not nearly as severe! So profile the penis is straight out with the top third curving up but NOWHERE like it was 6 months ago. In the past it curved up and kinda back, that's how severe the curve was.

I'm thrilled.

I will post in 3 months my 9 month update.

Congrats man. Posts like this give me and others hope. I just bought a PMP recently cause people were mentioning that RestoreX is better for people who are experienced with mechanical traction. JohnVermont,

First of all, congratulations! Your updates are always a pleasure to read and I'm sure they give hope to other guys (myself included). I'm genuinely happy for you.

I have a  question for you. I've also been using RestoreX for the past 5 months but haven't experienced the results you have (it's still better than it was though!). So I'm curious: do you try to bury the rods when you're doing traction? Meaning, do you apply as much tension as your penis and the device can handle? That's what suggests Dr. Trost (https://youtu.be/2v42XPREz6U) but I'd like to know how you do your sessions.

Thanks. :)

Yes, the more traction the better.

But that does NOT mean forcing.

It simply means do the max that is comfortable and gradually the max will expand.

I began with the short rods, never imagining I would later switch to extension rods.

Now I'm up to the 5th click and 4th position. Unthinkable when I started.

I keep it all tight so I not only don't see the white lines but during counter bending position I don't even see the tension rods.

I use method 2 in the manual. I extend the device and then I press down, releasing the tension rods.

You're welcome.

Also, staying at position 3 for 5 minutes is a great warm up before going to 4.

It makes it much more comfortable.

Thanks but my curvature is near the base so, following the instructions provided by RestoreX, I only use positions 1 and 2. My erections are better and I've gained some length but the curvature remains largely unchanged. Not losing hope!

Hope this post was done correctly since this is the initial attempt at posting on ANY forum. My journey with Peyronies so far is one of self-diagnosis & treatment. Started experiencing dull pain during erections about 12-14 months ago. That all went away, but one day about 3 months ago I attempted to have sex with my wife and could not penetrate. Eeeks! With a quick look I noticed a bend of about 35-40 degrees just below the penis head. Of course she noticed it as well. Both of us also agree there has been noticeable length loss.

That lead to a very rapid Peyronies education program on the internet. I did have a bi-annual appointment with my doctor in the interim and he asked about my sexual health. I was too self-conscious to share with him my issue so I told him "everything is OK."

I ordered the RestoreX device about a month ago. Here is a list of my observations and practices with the device:
1. I started "official" daily use of the device on August 26, 2021 so today marks Day 16. I am just a bit over 2 weeks into it.
2. I wrap at the "clamp end" with 2 wraps of gauze and then 1.5 wraps of 2" Band-Aid Hurt Free Wrap.
3. I moved the clamp to the higher position(of the 2 positions). I then clamp my wrapped penis with 3 clicks on the clamp. This is possibly the most critical aspect of it all. Three clicks is rough, but doable, and necessary to hold the penis in place without slippage through the entire regimen I list below. I found early on that if there was slippage, any gains you make during the session are partially lost due to the need to reposition and clamp. So I go to 3 clicks from the start and everything stays put for the 32 minute session.
4. I plan to complete the RestoreX manual's recommended treatment program for curvature(pg 24) of twelve(12) weeks of two 30 minute sessions. I have faithfully followed that for the past 15 days.
6. Of course I got to the 30 degree bend/stop on the device on Day 1.
7. I got to the 60 degree bend/stop on the device on Day 2.
8. I got to the 90 degree bend/stop on the device on Day 6.
9. I got to the 120 degree bend/stop on the device on Day 8.
10. My twice a day sessions are as follows: a. 15 minutes in the straight position. This morning(Day 15) I was able to extend the device to the 3rd notch on the extenders. b. one minute each at the 30 and the the 60 degree bend/stop.  c. 7.5 minutes at the 90 degree bend/stop. d. 7.5 minutes at the 120 degree bend/stop.
11. At the end of the recommended 12 weeks I plan to be done with the program, period! The RestoreX website claims that any improvements in curvature are permanent(length improvements not so much). Based on that information I will give this 12 weeks and that's it.
I have clearly noticed an improvement of at least 1/2 inch in length. It seems there is a slight improvement in curvature, although I did not do exacting measurements of such when I started. Stay tuned, I will give periodic updates on this matter at various stages of this 12 week journey.
The goal here is to go back to normal sex with my spouse. If this RestoreX program as described above does that, great, it will be worth the considerable effort. If sex is still challenging after the RestoreX program, I will seek out other treatment options with a qualified medical provider.

It took me until yesterday (6 weeks) to use the 4th click position. I've had an 1/2 increase in length and the curvature is less than when i started treatment. In the office, my Dr was able to calculate my curvature to the right as 30 degrees.
Does anyone have a reliable to measure the curvature?

Any updates on your progress?

Amazing progress!

I was told by my urologist that restorex could make narrowing and dents at the base worse? Is this true?
