No matter what I can't escape thinking about peyronies. I'm in my final calculus class for electrical engineering and everything is talking about curves fml🤦‍♂️. I had a B+ average in very Challenging classes, calc 1 and calc 2 physics 1 and 2,  but now I'm failing my calc 3 course. The weight of peyronies stress and school is very heavy. Especially with limited light at the end of the tunnel(no rewarding sex after). I just wanted to use this as a place to vent I'm not looking for much just needed to complain I guess. Lol this disease turned me into a crybaby

I about lost my mind in  probability and statistics class for computer science. You do get through it though. It depends on the proff.

don't give up man.
I feel the pain trust me. I also sometimes feel like it's "not worth" putting effort if I can't have reward after (good sex).
but I think it is worth it in the end. when we are going to have dealt as much as possible with the disease (treatments) and also accepted and learned how to live with it we will be glad we didn't give up on the rest of our life
20 yo, Peyronies Disease 2020(55 degrees down) + congenital curve

Sending love to my fellow youngsters. We'll get through this.
30 degree dorsal curve, immobility and heavy loss of girth.
My body seems to get very inflamed when I masturbate too often or eat unhealthy.
Using antioxidants, Pentox and hirudoid cream, as well as manual traction, heat and Cialis.

As someone who is teaching a class right now and is in graduate school, I can tell you that professors are generally very understanding of health issues. It doesn't seem like it, but I think there's a great benefit to telling someone that you're dealing with a "major health concern which causes significant psychological stress and anxiety." I don't think any of that is inaccurate with Peyronie's.

I have appreciated that my professors have let me work at my own pace. You still have to get all of your work done, and you have to do good work, but for anything you're struggling with, don't feel like anyone is leaving you to suffer. Health concerns are the worst part of life, but they're hard to avoid.

I hope that you find greater happiness, peace, and healing in the coming days. Good luck with Electrical Engineering. You're going to have a great and fulfilling career, and I wish you nothing but the best as you move toward those brighter days.

Im in grad school for computer science.

Failing is not smart--try to avoid it at all costs.  Drop the class, take a pause, try and go part-time. I know all of it requires a hit to the ego. But if you think about itl, youll see the the smartest thing you can do right now  is make school easy for yourself; take a light load you would breeze through without Peyronies.

Peyronies is going to ruin you mentally until you learn to control it. Take it slow with school and life. It's lame, but school is this imprint that can make a difference for stupid jobs in the future, so just take it slow.

A) Your grades really don't matter
B) When they do matter--it doesn't matter how long you took to get them
C) So take it slow, and take it easy on yourself :)

(btw, i feel just like you. so don't think i have my sh*t together, I am failing an optimization class too --im dropping it, and taking it slower the next semester).\

Calc 3 is hard, see if you can take it during a light semester.  Focus on yourself you owe it to yourself.
