Hey all,
Had my first shot of round one today. I was quite nervous but the doctor was really calm and that made it so much better. Shot two of round one comes Monday. Will keep everyone posted on the progress.

Hey guys,
So had second injection of the first cycle on Monday and in office modeling on Wednesday. Did see quite a bit of swelling and irritation for second injection but from what I've read I expected that. Relatively no pain just slight discomfort. Yesterday the doctor did the in office modeling exercise. Just did my first 3 30 second penile stretches today at home. Will hopefully start with Restorex again by tomorrow or Saturday at the latest. Just want a little more swelling to go down. All in all, a smooth first cycle. Hopefully some of this stuff will break up over the next six weeks. Keep everyone posted when I meet with the doc in six weeks to see about the next cycle.

Did the injection hurt?    I was screaming bloody murder during mine.  I never felt pain like this in my life in both sets of injections.  As a grown man, I was sobbing as I was exiting the office. Is this absurd pain normal when injecting?
thnx
57,Peyronies started in 2018 with pebble size hardening, but no curvature. Late 2020, sudden (within  weeks) 50-60 degrees of upward bend and hourglassing while erect.  1 round Xiaflex without numbing, without ultrasound, without endused erection

For me the injections didn't hurt but the numbing injection hurt like crazy. The first one wasn't as bad but the one for round two of the first cycle and then when I went back two days later for modeling it was even worse because the area was so tender from two numbing injections already but surprisingly I guess no pain from the actual Xiaflex injection.

I go tomorrow to meet with my doctor about round 2 injections. It's been roughly six weeks since injection 2 of round one. It seems to me that the curvature has went down a bit so I am encouraged at least that we are going in the right direction. Will post again as round 2 progresses here tomorrow and through next week.

So you do notice some reduction in your curvature - tha's great!  Can you gestimate just how much?

I went to see the urologist and I was right the curvature is down which is great. During the Doppler a few months back he had me at a 55-60 degree curvature and now I'm looking at about 35 degrees so definitely improvement. Now I have to get over my mental block and attempt sex with my girlfriend as the doctor is encouraging. Masturbation is successful so that's the next step. He said I still qualify for round 2 since I'm over a 30 degree curve but he left it up to me. At this point I think I want to do another round. Thoughts?

You responded so well to one round, I'd go for it.

Based on current Xiaflex results, that is pretty significant after only one injection.

I was using traction before round one and somewhat so after round one so not sure how much traction helped with the curvature versus Xiaflex. Xiaflex certainly helped reduce the curvature but again not sure if traction assisted as well as I didn't consistently check the degree of curvature. I just went off the original number when he did my Doppler and then the number about a month after the first injections. At this point I'm set up for round two at the end of August. I anticipate that to be my last round. I'll keep everyone posted.
