hello everyone,
i got diagnosed with peyronies disease 15 months ago. the deformity stopped progressing right around last chrismas so after about a year. ithas been stable since and at that time i had normal erectile functioning. however over the last 2-3 weeks my functioning has totally declined. i can absolutely not maintain an erection that lasts longer than 2 sec withojt stimulation i cant even get one. my morning erections are gone and so are night time erections. i am. strongly suspecting a venous leak however i can not get over the strangeness of the situation. why so out of the blue? and why is the corpus spongiosum so affected if the plaque is on the dorsal side of the penis? i have no. other risk factors either, young age, non diabetic or smoker.

another thing i have noticed is that i cannot. orgasm anymore. it just drips out and the sensation is tingling amd more painful than enjoyable. i did some research and i arrived at one area that could be the cause and that is the bulbospongiosis muscle whoch contracts during orgasm and shoots out the sperm. but it also has occlusive functions

could i have damaged this muscle? this is super stressful for me, i genuinely cannot masturbate anymore and i thought peyronies was over for me and its worse than ever before now with the severe ED. mydoctors cant help just out of sheef lack of interest for things they dont understand and with most urologists that stops at urinary tract infections.

i do not want a penile implant and i dont understand why a sudden physical. changewould have occured. ihave no pain, i just masturbated one day and the next day the corpus spongiosum just did not deflate anymore and i stopped getting erections. also my flacid penis is sqhuishy and longer kind of like an opposite hard flacid syndrome

please can someone help me in a direction? what could cause this total dysfunctionality?

I can sense two things from your post.  One is your understandable frustration, and the other is your sound thought process as you examine what the hell is going on.

I wish I had answers.  I can only say that I would have to guess it either has a psychological component, OR a Doppler Sonogram will detect a venous leak.

I get the feeling you have lurked around the forum here for a while.  You might know that a venous leak has no simple solution.  It is more of a nuanced approach with several tactics evolving PDE5 inhibitors, diet, VED, cockrings, etc.  I wonder if it could be a pelvic issue, although I have never been totally sold in or well informed on pelvic issues.  Hopefully, someone else has some input.

Best wishes

i want to understand it is so sad that there is so little resources out their on male anatomy and so little interest because men do not have a lobby group. i want to understand, how does the blood flow in the corpus spongiosum differ from the cavernosum, do they use the same vene? if so csn you have a venous leak in the spongiosum and not have the other bodies affected?

i just do not understand what is causing this. ido not believe there is a psychologicsl component at all as i have been having this disease for over a year and my erections where often just fine and suddenly i can not get an erection at all, for many weeks now it has gotten this way and suddenly a large spurt and i am completely impotent. ialso have pain and discomfort in the corpus spongiosum. couldi have caused damage with the penis pump i have been using? it must be that for sure. otherwisewithout any injury what would cause such a drastic change out of the blue? and another thing, thr orgasm issue what is thaz about.

my theory is that i have damaged the corpus spongiosum with the ved, the orgasms hurt becsuse the sperm is shooting through that chber basically and my muscles might have been torn as well.

i thought i was in active phase and finally going to improve but looking back, taking a hard look, i have to realize that over many months the condition is worsening and not improving and no end is in sight. onchristmas i had the best erections since getting this disease and now i am impotent. how can that be? what is happening? if it is the ved i will sue the doctor prescribing it he said i cannot injure myself in any way

another thing i want to add is that if i can achieve orgasm which is where hard in the first place, there is a strong itch snd burning sensation in the lower part of the penis, in the urethra i think. when the cum is coming out it burns and it is so itchy. it is not a sexually transmittable disease becsuse i have not had sex in many years. itseems in addition to the ed i have some sort of orgasmic dysfunction as well. i am not losing hope in that it is a pelvic floor problem because the muscles control. erection and orgasm contractions and the latter in particular seems to be totally out of control

what can i do? how csn i test for this and what can i do to treat it?

I think you should see a urologist or even get a general doctor to offer a urine test to see if you have a urinary infection.  I would consider a round of antibiotics in case you have a prostate infection.

A damaged spongiosium would not likely prevent an erection.  Also, you could not have damaged it with a VED if you were not pumping to pain.

I have read the survival guide and filled my signature. urinary tract infection is what it feels like but only when i orgasm. i guess this could be from riding a bycicle as well. but it is not painful per se when i do not touch it. i also just do not get this good feeling during an erection anymore, there is no tension, its just limp and hard to keep up. but the cavernosal chambers are hard, spongiosum is completely deflated which is confusing. do all the chambers have the same vascular supply as in does the spongiosum also drain in the same vein as the other chambers?

I am literally going through what you are going through. I have no idea. I have slight curve and indentations  but I was still able to get erect. But now the last two days my penis just gets full but not rigid at all. I was doing manual traction because most people say to get stared on it as early as possible. But now I'm wondering since I am in the acute phase I was actually possible doing more damages then good

Have you ever had a Doppler Ultrasound?

This might prove to be of some help for you? Also if you do have a UTI antibiotics are needed. I definitely would see a physician about this.  Don't ever try to diagnose yourself without some form of reliable testing.

Look into hyperbaric oxygen treatment at ATA 2.0 it will delivery oxygen to every cell in your body all those muscles and create angiogenesis I have similar issue probably for many years longer than you and this has helped.
