I am kinda desperate, turning impotent and even losing my ability to orgasm (I can still cum, but it feels numbed to the point of frustration). Nobody is gonna implant me even now, but I wanna try PRP. Is it a waste of time?

Sadly, back around 2014/15, PRP received a lot of attention here, with the vast majority of men trying it receiving no long-term benefit. Everyone was excited at first, going home with heavy, fluid-filled members that looked better, but I recall no single case where a guy saw a noticeable reduction in curvature or indentation once the "swollen" phase wore off. We must remember, when a penis is swollen, the deformity just looks better, but is still there under the swollen tissue.

It was a sort of flash in the pan, I'm afraid. We engaged in a healthy debate about it, I recall, but it just didn't pan out.

There is a clinical trial on PRP and Peyronie's going on right now that will end next year in March or so.

I think it absolutely helped me, and I would do it again if I had worsening. Regardless of what you put in your penis (do not self inject), the extra volume absolutely makes traction and VED more effective. The extra volume lasted a year and a half, and that time meant a lot to me and absolutely made things easier in treating my symptoms.

Now interestingly, PRP was used to CAUSE Peyronie's in a study on rats, as it increased tgf-beta. In humans, so far it seems to help though, and I am excited to see the results of the study.

Same. I have great faith in PRP as a natural remedy to cellular disintegration, despite not (yet) having met with the (insanely) high expectations.

I too am very excited to see future progression in this field of medicine; along with stem cells, of course.

PRP as Dr. Landon Trost says and it has been demonstrated by the lack of results on the board even after so many guys that had it, does not work. It is nothing but a pipe dream costing people money.

I am of the opinion that it helped to reduce the plaque, and made traction and VED more  effective 

I have two plaques under the glans, one on each side.  We concentrated the PRP on the larger one.  And after about 2 months of traction after the PRP shot, that plaque is now the smaller of the two

Its expensive, I will do it again as i believe it did help to reduce plaque size  for me

It's a scam, even saline injections show improvements

The treatment costs a fortune, is uninsured, unregulated, and unapproved by the FDA

If that isn't a red flag then I hope you a very rich and very lucky

Glad to see this thread up and running.  I have been "sold" on the Priapus or PRP shot by many providers, and have always been skeptical.  Nice to know many give it a side eye as well. 

It does sounds very similar to the old treatment for Peyronie's pre - Xiaflex.  They used to inject a large amount of liquid into the penis at the site of the plaque.  You were swollen for a while, but then it went down.  The best guess as to why this may have worked at all would be that anything piercing the plaque like a needle may help break it up to some degree. 

I have been very tempted to try PRP.  Several "vanity" clinics like to offer it alongside skin treatments, botox, and hormones.  Yet none of my urologists offer it as a treatment, so I took that as a clue.

BrettC, I got a PRP shot a month ago, didn't do absolutely anything for my deformity, it did for erections for the first two erections, now the effects are gone.

The PRP was a huge mistake, 3 months after doing it my condition is worse than ever, my penis became thinner, softer, DO NOT DO THE P-SHOT
