Thanks Tortao, I really appreciate your response. There isn't much support or journals out there for TEP.

My doctor says it is normal and I just have to wait it out. I have been tested for an infection and everything.

Seems to be improving with cycling but I still can't do much. My flaccid is basically a smaller erection pointing at 4 o clock and stiff. So, I can't gym, can't go out. If I point it up it hurts, if I point it down, it may affect erection angle.

I'm a little stuck, but I noticed in your journal that everything seemed to get better at 4 months. So, I am just trying to wait it out. I was also oversized, so this could be the reason that my recovery is longer.

Did you have an oval shaped erection? Did this improve over time?

An "oval-shaped erection simply means that you are getting no natural erection in your spongiosum.  As to how long that will continue - it depends completely on when or if you will get any natural erection. The answer to that depends on whether you for erections before surgery.

Yea, and I still have an oval shaped erection if I'm not aroused. If I'm aroused, my penis get filled with blood too, so the shape looks very natural.
For this reason, I also don't need a lot of pumps. Around 15 pumps are enough, never more than 20.

It 100% improved. I don't remember exactly how much time it took to improve, but I think I did write it in this journal.
The pain was associated with this clogging, so it went away after all healed.

I can see you're very worried and I completely understand you, as I was in the same situation. It's very frustrating, I know. But now I can see it is worth it. I can F~@< anytime I want. Sometimes I cum on my girl and she still wants more, so I bang her for some minutes more till she orgasm.


I won't deny something that worries me: revisions.
So far, my implant is performing really really well. But I fear when I need a revision. My girl really likes sex, and I don't know how much time it will take from scheduling the surgery till 100% recovered. This thought bothers me. I know it's something out of my control and I shouldn't overthink it, though.

I fear revisions too. We are both young in age, and may need 5+ revisions in our lifetime, that means 5+ risk of infection, and as you said the recovery period as well.

Glad everything has worked out for you, I have been told that revision surgery is easier, and recovery is a lot quicker.

I think it's important to show some pics from before surgery and nowadays (2 years post-surgery).  
I want to give some hope to everyone that is feeling lost and hopeless.

March 2019. Before everything started. No peyronie, straight dick.





August 2020. Very crooked, but had plaques just at the right.





March 2021, 4 days before my surgery. My penis developed plaques at the left shaft. It got more straight, but lost axial rigidity and had venous leakage. You can see it's thinner. It could develop more plaques and get even worse if I hadn't had the surgery.





April 2023. 2 years and 1 month after my surgery. This week I took this pic and I really liked it. It's a beast, a machine.




I think you all can imagine the hell I went through. This disease is no joke, but there are treatments and you can have your sexual life back.

I have an impression it was bigger before everything started. Something like 0.5 ~ 1 cm bigger than now.

But definitely I have more length now than my peyronie dick. I regained around 2 cm of length.

Man these improvements in the last photos are so great. It really gives me hope. I'm about a year younger than you so also feel the same way about the revision thing but I generally see it being worth it. Like I could die in a few years or any day now anyway. I might just go for the implant route at this point to really enjoy my sex life whilst I'm still this age.

Prices went up for sure due to price inflation.
But 2 years ago I paid around R$ 40.000 for the medical team + R$ 50.000 for the implant.
My health insurance paid the hospital cost. There's a reasonable probability I can get the 50k back cause I'm suing my health insurance. They didn't pay for the implant.
All costs included (plane tickets, Airbnb, and medicines) I think I had spent R$ 100.000. This is U$D 20.000 (considering today's conversion rate).

Dr. Marco Tulio has a Youtube Channel and he's growing in the business. Well deserved, he's the number 1 in Brazil. Probably his price went way up now.

Wow good to know, guess it's around 20,000USD everywhere it seems. They should be free jesus for the sake of a mans mental health.
