Is it possible to recover from Peyronie if you have severe erectile dysfunction?

Hi guys, a few days ago I did the doppler echo, and the doctor detected my Peyronie's plaque. He told me it's a very strange scar, because it's much softer and more rubbery than what she usually sees. It may be, because I had Peyronie following an injury with Jelqing. In a few days I will have a treatment with hyaluronic acid injections. I hope it will help me, but I don't have much confidence.

I also started traction and so far it is the treatment that works best for me, because the penis is much more vital. But I still have severe erectile dysfunction, and I don't understand if it's related to Peyronie, and I'm afraid that even if I straighten the curve, I won't be able to get erections. I wanted to ask you a curiosity? How many of you suffer from severe erectile dysfunction (no spontaneous erections and morning wood) from Peyronie? I see a lot of people who have Peyronie but manage to have erections, or at most have some difficulty in maintaining erections, but very few say they have severe erectile dysfunction due to Peyronie, or at least it seems to me so.

Is there anyone who is cured of erectile dysfunction by treating Peyronie? Or do you only go back to normal if you suffer from Peyronie's disease but still manage to have even the slightest percentage of spontaneous erection / morning wood? I have tried many treatments, but I think it's all useless, and I really think I'll have to decide to have an implant ..

As far as I know... if you just straighten your penis (let's say... by grafting surgery, plication), it won't solve your ED.
VED may help you straighten a bit your penis and improve your erections. But you should start slow.

The only surgery that can correct your Peyronie and ED at the same time is implant surgery. If you really have severe erectile dysfunction (something that should be confirmed in a doppler exam with your penis erected), then I think this surgery is your best choice. I know you're young, but battling severe ED + Peyronie will just exhaust you.

Hi dude yeah i destroyed my penis doing that jelqing crap 3 years ago. It caused me Peyronie and it's also odd in consistency from what the doctor who gave me the doppler says.

Unfortunately, I am convinced that Jelqing damages the penis permanently. Almost no one from what I have read is able to heal, and whoever made it according to me had a not so serious injury .. It caused me Peyronie, and I have a very serious erectile dysfunction.

Have you seen any improvement in any way? Can you get erections even if you have Peyronie? Nothing has given me relief for now, I'm seriously considering an implant, because this crap kills psychologically. Jelqing is pure garbage!

Yup, that's my experience too. Surprisingly my broken messed up wiener still gets rock hard as I have high libido, take testosterone, cialis, pentox, etc. And plan on fcking my girl till I no longer can. But ever since 17 or so (26 now) it only got progressively worse and noe my sensation is weird and always feels like using half my penis (shrunk a significiant amount too). I hate the future and am actually refusring theraphy cause its pushed on me over and over but doesnt work. I now decided to whine to urologists instead till I fonally get the implant I shoild habe gotten years ago and ss plan B I will fight for euthanasia as everybody knows by now I will go insane if I end up impotent. For now I hold on to false hope and planned to take a P shot. Hopefully it helps a little, but I dont think so... Its either gonna be a very small implant for what is left of my dick or waiting for scifi solutions like tissue engineering which will take like 10 more years. Depressing is an understatement.

Not even Cialis and Viagra in low doses work for me. I also have tremendous premature ejaculation after injury. It is therefore almost impossible for me to have decent sex. If you want the implant and are willing to do it why not do it? Just find a urologist who is willing to implant you. I'm just waiting to get the Hyaluronic Acid treatment even though I almost know for sure it won't help. If it fails I will beg my parents to help me get the implant, I have a F^@$!ng fear that my penis will get worse and worse over time. I also thought about waiting to see if science will find some sort of miracle cure that will regenerate the tissues, but unfortunately it remains a hope that I don't know if it will ever come. So I think that within this year if nothing is resolved I will go for the implant. I'm exhausted and tired of thinking about my poor wrecked penis, every F^@$!ng moment of my day.

My parents are willing to help me, but they see the implant as something that will "ruin me forever", and so are trying to go through every other treatment available first (although I have tried most of them by now). But I am tired and depressed, if it were up to me I would implant myself today.

It is up to you. You're 26 years old.
Acquire the capital you need and then do it.
30 degree dorsal curve, immobility and heavy loss of girth.
My body seems to get very inflamed when I masturbate too often or eat unhealthy.
Using antioxidants, Pentox and hirudoid cream, as well as manual traction, heat and Cialis.

Yes, I intend to do everything possible to pay for the surgery. However, I have recently worked and I don't have a fixed monthly salary, but my parents are willing to help me and do everything for me, I really love them so much for everything they do.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but if I use it right (stretching but not pulling too hard) the extender makes my penis much more vital and stronger. I don't have spontaneous erections, but I feel it moves something. Have any of you noticed this with the use of the extender? Is this a natural and temporary thing or could it cure erectile dysfunction? I bought it to help me maintain size and try to straighten my penis, but I didn't expect it to improve erectile dysfunction. Have any of you experienced permanent erection improvements with the use of the extender?

Just remember, an implant is ONLY AS GOOD AS THE SURGEON who installs it.  If you grab a mediocre surgeon who does 5 - 25 a year your odds of a nightmare are way too high for it to make sense.

I know, in fact I was planning to move out of Italy to have the surgery. Here in Italy there are many good surgeons, including Dr. Pescatori and others, but I'm considering going abroad, and if my parents allow me to go to Dr. Eid in New York. Here in Italy Dr. Gabriele Antonini is very famous, and he carries out many prostheses a year, but he visited me and I didn't like him at all, I found him very arrogant and full of himself, moreover it seemed to me that he only thought to money more than to my well-being. But this is my experience, maybe someone got along well with him and in terms of surgery he is very good, I don't know. However, I am considering whether to choose Dr. Eid, because I seem to understand both the best both surgically and as a person

I have read that the vast majority of implants in Italy are non-inflatable semi-rigid implants.  If you decide to do it in Italy, I would make sure the surgeon does not just do a lot of implants. You want someone with a lot of experience with inflatable 3-piece implants.

If you can afford it, then go with Dr. Eid.

Of course, you need to calculate every expense. Probably your insurance won't cover the operation.

Living in the USA has its benefits. Here in Brazil, there aren't many men that can afford a 3 piece implant, so the vast majority of the surgeons implant just the semi-rigid. According to the Coloplast representative, my doctor has the highest volume of 3 piece implant surgeries: on average, 4 in the month. This is not a high volume, unfortunately. I'm not adding the semirigid implant surgeries.

You need to do what is under your control: seek the best surgeon that you can afford. Ask questions to your doctor, try to find if he has a good volume of implant surgeries.

have you tired hyperbaric oxygen therapy? at atmosphere 2.0 https://www.nature.com/articles/s41443-018-0023-9

Ale go for shockwave therapy, they are doing it in Milan, San Raffaele, and I think it's worth a try...probably one of the only things that kind of work.

Severe congenital curvature. 3 straightening surgeries
Big lump/stitch w/ left deviation after 2012 surgery
Severe ED after last one in 2014. Still crooked
Slightly improved w/ shockwave therapy
Looks like only one side of my penis works

If I had the choice between hyperbaric oxygen therapy and shockwave, I would take hyperbaric oxygen therapy.  We have had few positive reports on the forum from shockwave, and when we did, the improvement was slight.

I certainly agree that he could have both.  If he can afford both there is no reason not to give it a try. I would just give priority to hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
