Voltaren Gel (Diclofenac)

Hey guys. When you use Voltaren Diclofenac, do you just put some on and then go about your day?
Because having it on 20 minutes before shower seems ridiculous and won't do any work.
Am I right?
I used Voltaren yesterday and just took on my underwear and pants and went about my day; later that day I got aching pain at the top of my penis? Maybe that's because I got some on my glans or something? Or did I put on too much? What do you guys think?
I just really want something to stop this ongoing inflammation, and it seemed like Voltaren would be the ultimate solution.

If I do discontinue my use of Voltaren, I will most certainly start using a natural oil just for anti-inflammatory purposes.
But which one?
- Jojoba Oil
- Coconut Oil
- Olive Oil

Which one would you guys use?
I understand it won't do anything for scarring but perhaps for inflammation and pain.

I have used in the past a creme I purchased on my country called Acheflan.
It is something called Cordia verbenacea.
It helped a little with the pain. Also some oral Ibuprofen.
But recently I am having great results with Hirudoid. But there is a whole post about it.
