Can it be demonstrated that a RestoreX is any better than straight traction?

It's impossible for non-American to get a RestoreX device without spending over $1 100 on weird shipping services to get it shipped to Europe.
It's insane
30 degree dorsal curve, immobility and heavy loss of girth.
My body seems to get very inflamed when I masturbate too often or eat unhealthy.
Using antioxidants, Pentox and hirudoid cream, as well as manual traction, heat and Cialis.

Then get another traction system.  I have always believed stretching is stretching and that the RestoreX is a bit gimmicky.  No one has ever satisfactorily explained the science behind a bent pull.  When you stretch a penis straight out, where is all the traction focused?  Answer: on the shortest tissue fibers, not on the longer healthy tissue.

I disagree with Hawk here. What counterbending does is that the force gets started from the point of hinge instead of
the glans as in a straight traction device... so none of the force is wasted before your region of curve or plaque. Also, while shortest fiber will be under most tension, the other fibers are also under tension where this force will not be wasted.

This is a psychology topic but I would be very interested in you taking 15 minutes and making a model with 5 or 6 same-size rubberbands to represent elastin fibers.  Tie a knot in one or two rubber bands to shorten them and show me how pulling on an angle is superior at putting tension on the shortened bands as opposed to pulling straight.   Post in the traction board and PM the link to me.

@Hawk: Strangely, my best progress has been with the counter bend included. I think it simply applies more traction directly to the plaque. Nearly 3 months with RestoreX and I've regained all lost size and even some additional although I'm not sure how the latter happened.

I understand that is what you think, but I could fill a 26 volume set of encyclopedias with things that people think but are not true.  I am not taking a poll on personal opinions.  I am looking for a plausible scientific explanation why it would put more tension on the shortened tissue, and I find none.  I have also felt none when using a dowel rod to put an angle with a regular traction device or with manual traction at an angle.

Peyronies 101 -
1. A penis curves because some tissue (the plaque) reaches its limits of stretch before other tissue.
2. the plague limits your stretched flaccid length because that has the least stretch.
3. If you stretch to your stretched flaccid length, that places traction only on these shortest tissue fibers

The angle of pull has nothing to do with it.  There is NO wasted tension since ALL of the tension is on the shortest side or the defect in the penis.
Either the plaque itself will stretch, or the healthy tissue on the same side and in line with the plaque will stretch, making the short side longer.
You do not want traction to pull on the long side until the short side is the same length.

You can place more traction on the plaque with a straight pull than is healthy, safe, or advised.  Bending at an angle can place no more traction on the plaque than a high tension straight pull.

This simple concept can be illustrated with strings, ropes, or rubber bands, as seen below.
The text is not easy to see, but all rubber bands were the exact length until the green one was knotted.  The knot represents plaque and shortened the green band.
In the top photo, all bands are slack.
As traction is applied, the short green band is put under all the traction before the slack is taken out of the other bands
You could pull these at any angle, and it would improve nothing.

This discussion and Hawk's demo has been very helpful.  I bought a RestoreX in December, but stopped using it after 2 weeks because I believe it was creating a new plaque under the glans where the clamp holds the penis (which I set on the most open position). However this new plaque seemed to go away after a couple weeks, so I tried using the RestoreX again. This time I was careful not to push it too fast and I did not use the bending mechanism. After a couple weeks, it seemed that my curvature had gone from 90 degrees down to about 81. I was exhilarated, so I started using RestoreX for another 2 weeks, and I added the bending mechanism. New pictures seemed to show I was back to 90 degrees curvature again. I wasn't sure whether this was due to the introduction of the bending device, TD in general, or perhaps I wasn't "erect enough" when I did my first set of measurements - so I stopped again. I also feared that I was developing another plaque under the glans. This discussion has me considering whether to start using the RestoreX again WITHOUT the bending mechanism, or perhaps buying a TD which doesn't clamp onto the head with such vigilance.

Since starting treatment in August, 2020, I've had 7 Verapamil shots that didn't improve the curve (and may have added 'ear-like' extensions to the plaque, right at the position the doctor inserted the needle). I'm also using a VED, massaging with DMSO & herbal oils, taking a small amount of Ciallis at night,  along with L-Arginine, Citrulline & L-Carnitine (my MD wouldn't prescribe Pentox and CoQ10/Ubiquinol gave me a rash on my chest and neck).

I am an engineer by profession and I will be posting what we call a "free body diagram" in physics  to show how counterbending increases tension  in the scarred area. I will be doing this sometime over the coming weekend. Stay tuned !

I also believe that restorex works on correcting the curvature by using the counter bending.

I say you have a few choices
1:  Get any other traction you can preferably a PMP - which is cheaper.
2:  Get a friend in the USA to purchase it somehow for you and then ship it to you overseas. I get shipments from China and India and Europe all the time. You can ship a package from the USA to the UK for between $26.00 - to $40.00 with DHL.
