I've had the Peyronie a plaque for about 2 months now and I keep waiting for it to start bending. Do they usually bend early on or later on. So far no bend at all. Maybe a small indent.

I've had symptoms going on five months and so far the only bend is very slight downward just below the glans and a little to the left. I think everyone has a different experience - for some it curves first and then other symptoms occur. My urologist was able to feel a plaque but I can't locate it myself. I'm having an ultrasound next week to see if I can learn more. Like you, I'm concerned that one day it's going to curve/bend.

Thanks for replying. The small bend that you do have.... can I ask when did it become evident? I was diagnosed by my family doctor and was not given much information. Unfortunately it's a 3 to 4 month wait to see a urologist here. My plaque is easy to feel but seems small. Approx 2 mm wide by 8 mm long. I'm hoping for the best but mentally preparing for the worst.

Sure thing - my curvature has been very gradual and I didn't really notice it until about a month ago. So about 5 months after I started experiencing pain. My onset was random shooting pains in my penis when flaccid. It would last about 20 seconds and felt like I was being stabbed in the shaft of my penis. I still have those (although less frequently) and I developed pain during erection and after intercourse for about 2 hours. The pain seems to be aggravated when I wear a condom for some reason. I have tried larger size condoms but no difference. Unfortunately, condoms are our primary source of birth control, so I don't have a lot of other options there, and I don't want to be a daddy again at 46! The other issues I've been experiencing are delayed (or sometimes no) ejaculation, which isn't my usual, as well as starting to lose my erection as soon as we're ready to have sex. A little manual stimulation brings it back, but I've always been "at attention" before this started.

I think the most frustrating part of this situation is that I've always been a healthy guy - I eat right, work out four times a week, don't smoke, no chronic health issues. But this is something I can't fix on my own.

Hello alphabet,

I noticed a notch / dent in October 2019.
Then in December 2019 the plaque was found by the doc.

Bending really started in March 2020.
So with me after 5-6 months.

Up to 90 degrees.

I am always amazed at how much a part of the body can change.

Hope it doesn't hit you so hard

I noticed a lump with pain in April 2020 and then 7 months later my glans started curving up about 35 -45 %. Then I noticed a lot of plaque like tough rubber bands inside the shaft towards the end.
