Hey all,

This all started about a month ago, I noticed I was waking in the night with an erection that felt like it was going to burst. This feeling has now changed to more of a feeling of grit stuck in my urethra when erect. I then began having other symptoms, throughout the day my penis felt like it had been slammed in a door. Then I noticed a large pebble sized lump at the base that feels like it's connected to the urethra. It's kinda right in the centre of the shaft and it can move.

I also have pain in my kidneys and lower back that seems to fit more in line with symptoms of prostatitus. Though this pain subsides if I drink water and worsens when I need to urinate.

I began taking ibuprofen and the pebble sized lump has now shrank to a tiny BB sized lump. My erections still feel odd and I've noticed a slight flat spot about half way up the shaft that appears when I'm about 95% erect. The lump seems to grow with my erections.
My penis also becomes rubbery and tough when it's flaccid and all the veins bulge out on it when this happens.

I've had pain like this before, around 2 years ago and it all cleared up in about 6 weeks. I visittthe doctors twice during this period and they couldn't find anything wrong with me. I'm 32 and sexually active.
