I recently watched NeoVs video on heat therapy and how it basically improved his curvature, pain, erections etc and I was wondering, has anyone actually used this form of treatment and is it as effective as he says it is? Because I tried this therapy by doing hot showers and aiming a blowdryer at my penis and I just want to know if it works or not

Greetings Mandem29,

when one begins treatment therapies based on specific study or studies which are proven successfull it is important to follow the instructions of the studies and not instictly do part of them or altering the way it is supposed to be done. Neo was reffering to this study here https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/pdf/10.1080/02656730500133892.
''Hyperthermia has two main mechanisms of action. The first consists of dilatation of the micro-vessels with increased arterial and venous blood flow in the treated area by generatingheat with an increased amount of oxygen, red and white cell components to repair celland tissue damage and better venous drainage to eliminate toxins and oedemas. The second consists of an increased rate of cell metabolism resulting from the increased temperature, with consequent improvement in repair of cell and tissue damage.'' Note that it is super important for the temperature to be from 39 to 42 celcius. Higher temperatures applied could lead to irreversible cell death. If you wish to add the heat therapy regime i suggest you to use a rice sock heating it in the microwave and not the water in the shower as you say. I know that due to despiration we try to just do treatments but we also need to consider outcomes and possible side effects. Always be carefull and start from lower volume to higher in whatever treatment you'll follow.

Be well,

French,

i used a typical thermometer and it broke. I think a food thermometer would do the job.

Mr man

Hello,

I use a hot water bottle. It's electric. Convenient if frequently used. It's wrapped in felt material. Feels really nice resting on penis.

An old fashioned nurses thermometer worked well. The company name is geratherm classic, but any good quality medical thermometer should work.

To answer the question. Heat therapy is definitely helping. Based on a study I read. 2 * 30min sessions are required twice weekly. For 10 sessions. Then 1 month of no therapy. Followed by another 10 sessions (identical to the first round). At 40 degrees Celsius.

Am not sticking to any regime now. Am planning on doing it nightly. Particularly if penis is aching from traction.

I wouldn't say it's the most important therapy. In my opinion traction holds that crown, but it is working. Helps penis to recover.

In my case hyperthermia therapy never really worked as well without a dose of Pentox. I always take 400mg before a sessions.

Hyperthermia therapy, VED, and traction just didn't work for me at all  untill I started taking Pentox. It's a wonder drug.
Latest routine. Started l-lysine 3mg daily, l-proline 5mg daily. Increased vit c intake. Accompanied with almost daily vacuum therapy. Pumping to 100% Exercise caution! Made good progress. L arginine supplements and prescribed potaba are helping.

Hello,

Yes. Just search 'electric water bottle' on any popular internet auction site or net market place.

Once boiled it detaches from the lead and your good to go.

I also purchased a infrared lamp. It's gathering dust. The water bottle did the job.

How does the temperature feel? Have you tried measuring it?
Age:23. Onset of symptoms: september 2020.
Curve mostly semi erect about 60 degrees, slight pain
Tried short & prolonged fasts, keto, carnivore, traction and most of the supplements.
Severe digestive issues, probably an autoimmune disorder

Hey Guys

Im not sure how to measure the temp of this this. I guess I could use one of those forehead thermometers.   Ill try it and see, Ill reach out to the company as well and see if they have specs on temps

What I can say.  is the heat feels very nice.  the device itself also  feels nice to wear....it has a velvet like inside

After reading the benefits of Hyperthermia, and watching NEO's vids on the matter, i scoured the internet for an infared hearting device that was specifically made to wear on the penis.  this was the only one could find.

The cord is way to short, so you absolutely need to get an extension USB thing.  I use it for about 20 before I use the RESTOREX devices.   really really helps make every thing more elastic feeling, and easier to counter bend, there was a point uing the pad where it got a little too hot, but just adjusted positions a bit...and it was fine.

trying  to get rid of a 13 degree bend up.  I have multiple plaques, and some dysfunction but works well with viagra.  Also on pentox .

Hope this helps

It may help to heal or have little effect. But it is not possible to treat all symptoms directly. Be careful, perhaps too much heat will have an increased effect.

I have not followed this topic closely, BUT too high of a temperature can be devastating and cause tissue necrosis (death).

Make sure you research heat therapy well and not just randomly apply heat.  Heat is not a -more the better treatment.

Mr man

Depending on the research the optimum temperature is 40-43 degrees Celsius. No more.

To keep on the safe side. I keep to 40 degrees. My method is to have penis held out with using a traction device. Set on low tension. Making sure the plaques and as much of the penile shaft is exposed and not obstructed by the device.

I place a medical thermometer on the area of penis to be heated. Then lay a towel on top. Then an electric water bottle lays on the towel. If the temperature drops. I switch on the water bottle. This gives me a perfect 39.5 - 40 degrees Celsius consistent temperature.

But It may be different for you. Add another layer of towel to lower the temperature.

Heat has to pass through the thermometer before heating penis. Giving an accurate reading. Thermometer is periodically removed to ensure the heat does not exceed 40 degrees.

Sessions last no more then 30 mins. To prevent cell necrosis. Also, I do no more then 3 sessions a week. Research suggests 2 sessions a week is sufficient. So my 3 sessions is experimental. I figure the clinic that carried out this treatment only did 2 sessions because they were closed on a weekend? However, when it comes to the number of sessions. I will stick to research which suggests no more then 10 sessions and then a month of rest.

Am giving up on traction and all other physical therapies, but am taking oral drugs.

Will post results here in about 2 months. Roughly 24th June. Will put that in my diary as a reminder.

Am not intending to logon untill then so can't answer any questions anytime soon.

Except to say am copying a study found in this site. (See resources.) Where mean reduction in curvature was 27 degrees. Conservative estimate from my memory.
