For months I knew my Peyronie was aggressive and I possibly would need an implant, besides the surgery for reconstruction.
Today I talked to Marco Tulio, a very knowledgeable doctor from Brazil. Showed him pics, and he stated what I kind of knew: my Peyronie was very aggressive and I need reconstruction with an implant. He said that maybe it won't restore my girth and size right away, so he asked me to not create expectations.

So, yea. This is utterly shocking to me, even though I knew I could face this possibility. I don't know how to digest this. The world has a shade of gray now. I can't remember the last time I cried but after the appointment, I cried a lot.

Another bad thing is Titan is the most suitable for my condition, as I have bad hourglassing. I would prefer AMS because it's much more discreet, has no dog ears, looks natural while flaccid, etc. This is not a problem if you have a wife, but it's definitely a problem for a single guy that may share a locker room or have a chick grabbing his flaccid dick under the pants.

I can't share this with anyone around me, so maybe I'm gonna make an appointment with a psychologist.

That's though indeed. But I must say that it's also great that you spoke to Dr. Marco Tulio. You're in good hands. I am sure he discussed the best option for you and the bright side is that you will get rid of all pills and stress. I don't know your age, so no clue about possible revisions of the implant and what exactly he told you. Or the price for consultation/surgery. If you feel you want to share with us, do it.

I am sure he discussed the best option for you and the bright side is that you will get rid of all pills and stress. I don't know your age, so no clue about possible revisions of the implant and what exactly he told you. Or the price for consultation/surgery. If you feel you want to share with us, do it.

Xiaflex was out of option cause I have multiple plaques and it's very expensive. He does STAGE if Peyronie is not severe (if no narrowing, no Erectile Dysfunction, low curvature degree). I have narrowing, buckling and my curvature is around 45º, so STAGE is not the best option for me.

I'm 28 years old. Yea, a lot of revisions in the future (if I live enough, lol).

R$ 35,000 surgery and his team

Almost 100x a minimum wage salary in Brazil.

This is not an implant board, so I will be brief.  Unlike your doctor, I think you are entitled to some expectations.  If you did not have expectations of improvement, you would be crazy to have the surgery, so asking you not to form expectations is either foolish or poor communication.

I personally would not have surgery by a doctor who was not prepared to record measurements before surgery and tell me the minimum length I should expect after surgery.

I encourage you to post on the Implant Board.

I also think it is wise that you seek the help of a GOOD psychologist.  A poor one is worse than none at all.

have you been getting a second opinion from a top doctor?

I think Marco Tulio is a top doctor. But besides him, not yet. I can get an opinion from the urologist I used to go to in my city, but I don't know if it is of great value. He's not a very skilled surgeon. He does just Nesbit and 2 or 3 times a month.
I don't know more top doctors from Brazil, so if I want to consult one I need a web call with a foreign doctor that speaks english.
Actually, I think a reconstruction plus implant is the best option for a case like mine. The problem is it's shocking, I can't digest it properly. This is why I created this thread in the psychological session. I'm still shocked.

He said to me to not create expectations of having my girth and size pre-Peyronie back. He said it can occur, but maybe not.
He assured me I can get back the straightness and some of the size, but 100% of the size pre-Peyronie can take some time or maybe not occur.

My appointment was made by web, so I could only send him pics. He said to me that when I come to his office he will measure everything and give to me an approximation of the future size.

I'm gonna make a thread on the implant (or Peyronie surgery, idk) board when the day comes.

Something that will be very painful is the post-surgery. The patient needs to leave the hospital inflated and keep it for 10 straight days. This is cause the implant will remodel the penis after the incisions.
Ugh, imagine going to the hotel, taking a plane, all that crap with an incised, swollen, and painful penis inflated under the pants. Jesus.
