So I have had worsening peyronies for years now after damaging myself jelqing. My doctors deny me treatment snd wanna let me walk trough with this untill its one big lump of scar tissue apparently but I can not do that. I still have a decent size, but its unstable loads of narrowinf and cause its mostly round the glans I can no longer cum from sex or BJ's. Only by hand with my own personalized techniwue no girl can replicate. So how the heck am I gonna get my sexlife back? I need to fix thid and I always told myself dr.Eid could have saved my life but maybe even he cant fix this. I just do not understand how this continues to get worse and how an implsnt would stop that.

I got a change of shape, sensation, and a loss of volume.

Fubar,

I do not claim to understand why any penile surgery does not cause Peyronies Disease to go insanely out of control since it is far more traumatic to the penis than most injuries we could ever experience.  I have asked that question of surgeons and cannot recall ever getting a clear answer.  In the case of an implant, my theory is that an implant keeps you under constant light traction.  You never shrink up or get what some call the turtle effect, even if you are in freezing water.  Does that prevent Peyronies Disease from reactivating?  I have no clue, but I have NEVER read a single account of anyone who had an implant then had Peyronies Disease progress.

If you get erections and your penis is relatively straight and have intercourse, I am not sure you will get a surgeon to do an implant.  I am skeptical whether it would help with a loss of sensitivity.  You could have a consultation with Dr. Eid.  The fee is $300 for 30 minutes, and before COVID, insurance would not pay for the consultation if it was by video.  I suspect they will now, but you would have to check.  If you call his office, his staff are very friendly and helpful.  They will also check your insurance.  I think you are to the point of having to ask him some of these questions.  Dr. Eid is quick to tell you if he thinks an implant won't help.  I have total respect for him as a surgeon and as a man.

Great question, i'm in the same situation and i'm looking to the implant solution just like you. I have the same questions as Hawk, i don't understand how cutting your tunica albuginea or just inserting an implant don't cause a huge amount of plaques or scarring to peyronie's sufferers like us, but i have to admit that like hawk just said i've never heard about anyone, even with severe scarring, that has other plaques or further pain or fibrosis after an implant surgery.

That's a mistery.

You can still have new plaques after the implant, but the plaques cannot curve your penis anymore.
So, regarding curvature, it doesn't matter if you get new plaques after an implant.

This is what I heard from some top surgeons.

Well this is certainly depressing info. Then WTF is the point?! Unbelievable

Just keep in mind that the declaration you can still have plaque form was by a member who does not have an implant.  I think Dr. Eid and every implated member on this forum would call that statement into a question.  I'll call Dr. Eid or send him an email and ask him directly and pay more attention to the answer this time.

The point is to prevent more curvature, narrowing, and loss of size. And, of course, aid your erections if you have erectile dysfunction.

This is what I've heard, take it with a grain of salt. If you want more accurate information, then ask this question to some urologists (more than one, if possible).

But think with me. How would an implant inside your corpus Cavernosum prevent new plaques to come into your tunica albuginea? By what mechanism? It doesn't make sense to me.

I wonder as well. This is why my urologist doesn't do anything, might make it worse. Then again, I have been getting worse for 8 years now and I'm only 26.

Does anyone here have documentation of someone who got an implant and their Peyronies got worse?  I have been around for over 15 years, and I don't.  Even when a half-assed surgeon did the surgery, that was never the outcome.  I have known surgeons to pull every blunder known, but I have never known an implant to result in worsening Peyronies Disease.

For one thing, it could not prevent inflation.  It could not shorten or bend a Titan implant even if you had a flare-up.  However, I have never even known of a flare-up, and that is not just limited to this forum.

Find another urologist. An implant by a high-volume surgeon won't make things worse for you.
An implant, when inflated, has a ton of rigidity and plaques can't bend it, nor deform it.

The question should be: do you need one? How bad are your curvature and deformity?

My urologists told me after the implant. I would not have to worry about peyronies. 2 years after my implant and they are right. No more 35 degree curve. No more hourglassing, and no more plaque. Just my old pre ed dick. At my pre ed length and girth as well.
