Hi everyone,

Has anyone ever experienced discomfort or dull pain after sex that lasts for several days/weeks? Is it a sign of Peyronie's worsening?
My erections are not painful and I don't feel any discomfort or pain during sex. However, I feel it for a long time after having sex when my penis is flaccid. It doesn't prevent me from doing my daily activities but I feel something is not right and it's worrying me.

Thanks for your help!

Yes. I had this for a year or two. I never thought it was a sign of things getting worse - i just assumed it was telling me it was there. I have no scientific backing for this but it made sense - you are 'working out' scar tissue. So it needs time to feel better after. I usually found within 12-24 hours I wasn't in pain anymore. But I could only have sex once per week or so. it wasn't until recently that I could go twice per week. I am currently 4 or 5 years into my diagnosis.

Thanks for your answers! I find them reassuring.

The pain after sex is coming and going (seems to be more present after rough sex) but the curve hasn't worsened. It would make sense that it's the scar tissue "working out". I just don't want Peyronie's to start all over again. :-X

I am also glad to hear that from you guys. I am feeling a very similar pain after sex, specially a couple hours after, while flaccid. It also usually lasts two or three days, but one time it lasted almost two whole weeks. At that occasion I thought sex had ignited a secondary flare up. Although everything is back to "normal" again.

But often its almost exactly as MauvaisCoton and you guys reported. It is also very reassuring to hear from your experiences. In my case I am avoiding sex to the bare minimum, like once a month. I hope this pain goes away completely someday.
I'd like to add that I have this condition for roughly 9 months so far.

I wonder if making careful "light" sex does helps healing or make it worse, during accute stage. What do you guys think? I could consider abstain from sex for a couple of months.
41 yo, married. Onset on 07/20. Flare up on 07/21. Brand new flare up 01/23. Indentations and hourglass. It still hurts sometimes; No erectile dysfunction. Taking Pentox, Cialis, Supplements, trying diets, fasting, VED and manual traction.
God bless

I am at the 12 month anniversary for this disease and things are winding down a bit.   I do limit my sexual activities to 1 time a week - rather than everyday.   For me in the beginning if I had too much sex I definitely had pain that could last about 2 to 4 days afterwards.

If I have to masturbate or have sex once a week, I'd rather finish breaking it.
we have to find a way to fix that pain.
for example:
1) Gather 30-50 people, and try the supplements for 1 or 2 months (in pharmacies there are many) do our clinical trial.
2) Someone with resources, do physical therapy (laser, ultrasound, magnetotherapy, etc.) for 1 or 2 months. to see if it is useful to buy any of these products.
3) spread this disease via email to fibrosis researchers.

Hello hoopmann you write you "had" this for a year, so it means you do not have this pain anymore? If so can you think of anything that helped relieve the pain? Btw are u officially diagnosed with Peyronies Disease?

I've noticed that if I take a hot shower and let the water flow on my penis after ejaculating it'll prevent me from having an aching flaccid penis. Just casually having an erection usually doesn't cause pain for some reason though but ejaculation can

I usually have increased pain lasting for 24 hours after orgasm

A suction traction device helps me(phallosan forte,) for as long as i wear it the pain decreases by more than half, then pain  comes back when i take it off but thats why its useful for me to use a device that can be worn for most of the day.

One thing I've been using is a therawand. That oddly enough relieves pain for me in that 24 hour interval after orgasm.

I have no idea why some of us exclusively only get the aching for 24 hours after an orgasm

Hazelboy, are you using the Therawand on pelvic floor muscles knots? Or how do you use it that gives you pain relief?
Nick, Peyronie's for about 2 years
Good results so far with traction, pump, ADS
Have seen 4 Urologists, each one worthless

I'm using it for pelvic floor. Most of my pain might just be my pelvic floor irritating my pudendal nerve but I still suspect it's possible I've had have some kind of injury/scar as well causing me pain. Pooping is also an incredible pain relief.

Urologists are useless as always when it comes to situations not related to urinating.

If going to toilet is such a relief to you i imagine you may benefit a lot from pelvic release exercises. Do these daily and tell us your progress!
