Oral steroids?

Hi guys today I'm trying an experiment I will let you know dosage etc when I know. But I will be trying oral steroids to see if it helps. My dad had scar tissue build up in his lungs and it was able to fix that, as well as connective tissue pain and fixed that. When I first started getting symptoms I didn't know it was peyronies but knew I should try something. The steroids had fixed my hard flaccid. I waited a long time to go back to sex and when I did the symptoms returned. I will be trying the steroids again. Wish me luck I'll give you updates. I have psoriasis, ibs, and joint pain, so if it doesn't fix my peyronies it will at least help woth some of those. I will let you know how it goes. 26 y/o searching desperately for cure. Any one have any experience using oral steroids?

I also take pentox 400mg 3x per day, and on the off chance either of these work for me colchicine .6mg 1x/day, and vitamin E. Aleve for pain. I am less worried about my erections and more worried about my hard flaccid. I have been working out and haven't noticed any real improvement woth yoga etc.

I started prednisone 50 mg today 40 in am 50 at lunch will keep everyone posted with pain and curvature as well as indentation.

Im surprised that sex brought the symptoms back even after you waiting long time, how long did you wait?
What are you gona do if you heal again knowing that sex brought your symptoms back?

Wait longer and excercise more and pray for the best

Curvekiller: I don't know what kind of steroids are you mentioning here but i hope you know that steroids, especially the oral ones are very toxic to your liver and they have all kinds of side effects, depending on the dosage and duration that you take them. Be very cautious about what you are doing as you can really damage your organs with them if you abuse the dosages. Also, you need to look at post cycle therapy after them, depending on the steroid you take.

you also mention a cure... You do realize that there is no cure per-se....? only treatments? yes, with some you will have your issue resolved. But it isn't considered a cure in the true meaning of the word. Give that a thought and thread carefully!

No changes the steroids were prescribed by the doc in being safe about it. I have a reduction of pain while taking the steroids but that is temporary. I'd say no change in curve

Good news RE pain!
Just wondering when your Peyronie's started and whether you think you're in the acute or chronic phase? Think steroids may have different potential benefits depending on the stage you're at.
Also what oral steroids are you taking? And what dose?

I think I'm immidiately after injury would be best. Or for people experiencing calcifications. It's hard to say though

3x next 3 days 2x next 3 days 1x next 3 then 1/2 next 3 days

The reason I thought it would be a good idea is because my dad had sarcoidosis in his lungs and the prednisone is what removed the scar tissue and made his lungs function again. I went to his rheumatologist and explained my situation
