MambaMentality

So as of recently, I have just started using the rice sock method to heat my penis. I have been placing it on my penis and I've noticed that it puts a bit of pressure on it if I just place it right on top of it. Is this pressure in any way unhealthy for the penis?

Bump cause I have the same question and I feel that I'm making too many threads. My scarring is on the underside(corpus spongiosum). It feels kind of heavy and puts pressure on it.

And does anyone else have to constantly microwave it? I feel it loses the max heat in 5 min or less. I've tried microwaving it for 30 sec each time.

How hot should he be? Almost to the point of burning, but not quite?

Be careful, guys, and use a cooking thermometer. The initial study on heat therapy called for a temp of 39-40C (102-104F).

You don't want to use too much heat or you could hurt yourself.

You can burn yourself which you don't want.  I found one of my dad's older sunbeam heating pads.  I wrap it in a towel and set it on low. I have a digital thermometer and the reading is usually about 102 and I leave it on for about 30 minutes then take a short break.

Mikel, how many minutes per day in total do you use the rice sock? Do you feel it helps?

I do not use a rice sock anymore because I am using an older Sunbeam heating pad which is closely monitored. I use the heat therapy about an hour total each day.

Do you massage the area afterwards? And do you wait a while before doing traction/VED? Or do you just jump right into it? Thanks for the responses

I do minimal massaging after heat therapy and then I start traction immediately afterwards.

Thank you Mikel. I've been doing manual traction while simultaneously massaging the plaque. Hoping I see some results
