Soft glans etc, implant helped?

Except for once or twice after using a VED, my glans hasn't been able to fill up for at least 18 months. Did anyone else suffer from this and were you at all helped with an implant?

I know the glans/spongium and the tunica and corporas are different areas of the penis. But I don't think my problem is scarring in the actual glans/spongium, just that the major amount of scarring in the tunica (on both sides of the shaft) is making blood harder to pass through. Hoping an implant could help me with the glans.

I also wonder about length and girth implanted. I get an additional 1/2 - 2/3 inches both in length and girth whenever I get a full erection. Wondering if a "full erection" will be possible (or perhaps the norm) after an implant, or if I will just end up with the same size as I get now with semi-erections. It was only a few weeks ago since I got real erections several days in a row. Then all of a sudden I lost that ability and I'm now back to semis.

Hi Jay.

Sorry I don't have the answers but will be interested in what other people say, as I have similar queries.

I'm struggling to get a full glans lately.  I have lots of scaring/plaque, which now seems to extend quite close to the glans.  I get pain just below the glans, which seems to be as the blood tries to force its passed the plaque.  This is turn hampers my erections.  So similar to you I wonder if an implant could resolve this.

I also wonder if all the plaque and previous graft could be removed so that my penis can extend properly, and resolve my residual curve of 45 degrees, giving me some extra length.

Have you looked into an implant yet.  As I see you are in the UK, I wonder which surgeon you have consulted or considered?  I am currently under Prof Ralph (note - he did not do my failed incision and graft)
Age 47, incision and grafting surgery in May 2019 to correct 90 degree upward curve.  Post of residual curve of 40 degrees.  Partial ligament separation and skin anchoring December 2019 to correct daily discomfort - without success

There is no real reason to ask this question since it has been discussed to the point of overload. Please read and search the forum.

Properly installed Implants do not help or hurt the engorgement of the glans.  They have nothing to do with the glans.  It will be the same after surgery as before surgery.

Ok but whenever my glans gets filled up, the length of my shaft is also longer as well. Since these are the times I get an actual full erection. Normally these days, I only get about 80% erection (including soft glans). But since I still do get 100% erections sometimes (like once a month), I am concerned whether the implant will get me to the size of my full erection, or my 80% erection. I know at least Dr Eid injects the penis to stimulate an erection, and then measures it. But the question is whether the injection will give me a full erection or not. Cialis certainly does not. It seems to have more to do with my pelvic floor muscles.

Same here man. I also have scarring right underneath the glans on one side (among other spots on my dick).

Yes, I have been thinking about getting implanted for several years. But I just relatively recently started doing manual traction and using a VED, so I thought I'd give it a last shot with these methods before I potentially have the surgery. Also would be nice to add (gain back) another 1-2 cm before getting implanted.

I don't live in the UK anymore, so I will probably aim for an American surgeon (Dr Eid in NYC).

It does not matter whether you get a full erection, an 80%, a 50% or frankly if you get zero erection at Dr. Eid's office except so he can document your size for your peace of mind.  It also helps some to alert him to issues of scaring but it has zero to do with what size or model of implant you get.  That is only determined in the operating room when he measures the capacity of your cavernosa to accommodate an implant cylinder. Dr. Eid will fit you with cylinders that will fill your cavernosa to capacity in both length and girth.

If your Spongiosium and glans only get erect once a month before an implant, then that would likely be the case after implant since, as previously stated, "an implant has zero effect on the spongiosium and the glans."

So what if you have "hard flaccid" and cannot stretch the penis while flaccid? I can stretch my limp penis about 1 cm. Considerably less than it does when getting erect.

I am sorry but what you are describing defies science and reality.  If your tissue cannot stretch with 10lbs of force pulling on it there is NO WAY the pressure of blood flowing into it will stretch it further.  Pressure from an erection is far less force.  That is why men spend hundreds on traction devices.  Otherwise an erection would correct penile deformity.

There is just no way your BPSFL can be significantly shorter than your BPEL.
