Hi!

I have written on this topic before, but here are a few notes more on the same topic.

Besides peyronies I have a syndrome called Ehlers Danlos. Peyronies is most likely linked to this as the syndrome affects the connective tissue. I have had all kinds of weird pains and difficulties. I noticed a very significant improvement in erectile dysfunction when I started taking Alfuzosin. I have taken tadalafil for quite some time but Alfuzosin is way better for me. I had problems peeing and the urologist prescribed this medicine. I have almost no problems with e.d now. I am curious to hear if anyone else has seen this improvement from Alfuzosin. I had terrible problems with Tadalafil...backpains and sour throat...none of this happens when I take Alfuzosin. I asked my doctor about the improvement in ED and he said that this is a positive "side effect" when treating bladder problems with this medicine.

Kind regards

Dressa,

If I am not mistaken, this is the first this medication has been discussed.  Since the erections are a side-effect it might be very problematic taking it just to correct ED but it is certainly an interesting concept.  Thanks for sharing.

It's actually the first medicine that really has an impact on my condition. I had problems with my bladder and tried Alfuzosin. It helped a lot! After taking it I noticed that my peyronies condition improved. The curve is still there but the erections are firm and strong. It is a safe medicine with few side effects. Cialis has a lot of negative effects on me.

Alfuzosin is an alpha blocker and yes, it may improve ED. I tried it several years ago but it did nothing for me. The only alpha blocker that worked for me was oral phentolamine.
