This is really, really stupid.

First off, you are generalizing all urologists. Of course there are terrible urologists, like any other profession, but this doesn't mean all are the same.
Second, you suggest in the title that they should be government employees. What? How this would benefit patients? There's no logic here.

I think the same as you. What disease of the penis has a satisfactory cure or solution? I could name 20 or 30 without a solution. You go to the urologist to pay for a consultation, then they send you to do studies and buy inefficient remedies to earn a commission.
surgeries? I have read hundreds of people ruining their lives with this, I had an adult circumcision and it worsened my function and sensitivity.

of course urology today is a scam. But the fault is not theirs, but the lack of medical research, although they are accomplices.
I would be embarrassed to charge for doing nothing.

And this does not happen only in urology, I went to different specialists to try to solve problems and nothing is cured.

I feel i have to educate myself as much as possible before going to doctors in general, i learned long ago that i have to be skeptical of what doctors tell me,
i wasted years with back pain because my doctor said theres nothing that can be done, and i fixed it later by myself. many times i self diagnosed just to go through many doctors trying to convince them to test me for stuff
My first urologist said its a ligament damage and il be cured in a month, and that was 3 months ago, i had to insist on getting imaging, now its the 3rd urologist and he says if its peyronies, then nothing can be done, il probably have to insist on getting prescriptions, but seriously, he didnt even mention traction or anything.
And when i mentioned pentox he said it wasnt meant for peyronies, as if i care
The fact that this post is generalizing all urologists doesnt change much because Its necesery to educate yourself to be able to tell a good doctor from a bad one, and once you do educate yourself, you dont need them anymore, except for prescription or surgeries, and so it beats the purpose.
Im tired of seeing doctors just to act as if i am the doctor and im telling them what needs to be done while educating them.

Here are my experiences with "Doctors" in the US:
1) Urologist #1, he performed a vasectomy when I was 35, he assured me that vasectomy didn't affect hormones or my erections. 5 months after the vasectomy I started to feel different, my erections got worst, losted muscle, gain fat. Went to check my hormones, before my vasectomy my testorone was high= 650, after my vasectomy = 240, and all the other hormones got much worse also. I went back to this peace of sh....t, and I asked him why my hormones got worsted after the vasectomy, his answer was" well, you are 5 months older than the last time you checked your hormones before the vasectomy, is age", I got screwed big time and he got his money.
2) "Doctor" #2, after years having mild ED, I decided to go to the ED clinic in Tempe az. I told the "Doctor" that after the vasectomy I was having mild ED recurring to take Cialis before sex, right away he told me that I needed Trimix, I asked if it was safe, he assured that it was. He injected me the Trimix on the low end of my shaft (where my now dent and hinge are is located). Well, 10 minutes later  my penis was really hard, I had a porn star erection, then I asked him what to do if doesn't go down, he told me to take Sudafed if my ereccion lasted for 4 hours. I left his clinic to go back to work, after 1 hour of being hard I started  to develop extreme pain on my penis, but I remember the "Doctor" telling me to take Sudafed after 4 hours. After 3 hours hard and with excruciating pain, I called him and told him that I couldn't take the pain anymore, then he told me to inject the anti-dote, so I did and my penis finally went soft. Two days  later I injected again to have sex, and is when I saw the dent, that cause me my current narrowing and hinge.
These so called " Doctors" screwed my sex life, they destroyed me, meanwhile they are getting pay big bucks and have no consequences for their actions. Before all this, I had a big and thick penis with high stamina, now I have a deformed penis that only gets hard if I take high doses of Cialis
