Hello, dear community!

I'm new here and would like to introduce myself. I am 31 years old, live in Berlin (Germany) and I noticed a change in my penis for the first time in February 2018. At that time the penis bent 20 ° to the right, and there was a dent at that point. It came suddenly and I don't know the cause. I saw many urologists and than took Potaba, Pentox and Cialis, but stopped again because I was afraid of the side effects and long term effects rather than the impression that anything was improving. I tried to come to terms. Fortunately, I have a girlfriend who supports me a lot. She is very understanding and gives me the feeling that it is not a problem for her at the moment. We have sex and I've never had erectile function problems. Unfortunately, my situation has worsened again and again over the past three years. Since spring 2020, for example, there has been a very strong change that is still going on.  :'(

As of today: I have a curvature of 40 ° upwards, and several places with plaque, which are also clearly palpable in flaccid state. I have two indentations during an erection, one on the left and one on the right on the penis shaft. I believe I've lost 3cm (1,2 inch) in length. Psychologically, I ride a roller coaster. There are days when I feel better and I have the subjective impression of the day that it is not that bad and then there are days when it is blacker than black - then I lose confidence and hope.  :-\

I am looking forward to fight this disease and I hope to find support here, and ideas how to. I want to be patient and I think I now understood that this is not going away, but I can battle it. And I have to keep it up and stay with treatment options longe that I did before. Next step: I need to find an urologist that is willing to treat me.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Regards,
Pauli  :)

p.s.
Where can I post some pictures of my current penis, so one can follow the progress? Thank you.

Welcome
You mentioned you have recieved medication from a urologist, then why are you trying to find another urologist, are you hoping to get a xiaflex injection?
Did you get an ultrasound or mri?

Regarding the psychological issues, i have been dealing with those since before peyronies and now it feels like my mind is completely gone, been getting support in this forum and insightful opinions and at this point im just trying to get through the days and remember that things might get better.

First of all: Thank you for the quick response. I talk with my girlfriend and a psychotherapist, but I am happy to also found Support from others that suffer the same. I have read the Guide and did write a signiture.

@Asphyxia: One reason is that I moved and the other that I just do not think I have found a good urologist. None of them was really interested in seeing me again  :-\ one just wanted to give me a Verapamil Injection. But ultrasound I got.

I wonder where to post pictures?

I agree with the others - you are not alone in this!

I hope you will find some clarity, support and inspiration here. please do not hesitate reaching out to people, either by posting in the forum or private messaging. I have learned a lot from others that way.

I think you can post photos in most boards. If you want support or advice, I'd recommend reading up first and see what others have posted. Then, you can add photos to a post if you have specific questions that you want answers to.

Best of luck!
