Laser-Treatment

A few weeks ago my local newspaper published an article about a clinic near here that uses LASER treatment at Peyronie's.
They use LASER therapy, which makes the tissue elastic again so that it can expand and the curvature decreases.

Special waves and frequencies are used here.

It sounds interesting - any form of improvement (even if it is little) is progress.
I think LASER treatment makes sense in principle.

We are discussing all known treatment options here, but I have given a lot of thought to the basic problem recently.
In many cases we are dealing with plaque (calcified) that bends our penises.
I think in 2021 it must slowly be ready for future-proof technologies (such as lasers) to be used.
I think the idea behind Xiaflex is great - an injection into the plaque tries to soften it, etc.
But there are also great risks (and high prices) here and the chances of success are not overwhelming ...

Somehow I have the impression that "our" Peyronie's disease has recently been mentioned in the media (TV / Newspaper) more often.

Let's hope that the public interest in this matter will increase and that our chances of "more modern" and better treatment options will increase ...

What do you think?

You can keep dreaming and hoping but in the end it's up to you personally to fix your dick. This is the best advice I can give you all, get things done yourself, don't expect that someone is magically gonna come and wave a magic wand that fixes you. Get off your ass and do something.

Low level laser works to heal wounds, as does infrared. It also has been studied for ED, and it's been shown to increase nitric oxide, which will definitely fight fibrosis. Actually there was a Korean study on this, I believe. I was looking into it since I just bought a far infrared heating pad for my penis to potentially replace the rice sock.

@Olive - not very helpful your comment.

me and most of the others do our routine every day (traction + VED + other things)
But it seems that we have clear - natural - boundaries.

So it would be great if a new treatment (Laser) came that could support us in our fight.

I'm definitely not sitting around waiting for a miracle

@NeoV - i am currently also looking into LLLT for Peyronies (or at least as a additional support) and was just wondering -
what is the rice sock or the heating pad for? I have this kind of laser: https://redlightman.com/product/red-infrared-combo-light/
and was also wondering if it would be good to cover your testicles (as they would get warm from the light). How do you use LLLT?

Hello Deek,

Laser treatment sounds good. Problem is how would the laser penetrate the skin to reach the scar tissue? My limited knowledge on lasers is the light wave is broken once it impacts darker skin? Because the dark absorbs light. Lighter skin tone would reflect the light.

More knowledge is required to see the potential of laser treatment.
Latest routine. Started l-lysine 3mg daily, l-proline 5mg daily. Increased vit c intake. Accompanied with almost daily vacuum therapy. Pumping to 100% Exercise caution! Made good progress. L arginine supplements and prescribed potaba are helping.
