I am highly focused on an implant.
I cannot deal with the stress of the comprehension of what state my penis will be in the future.
From my injury 2 months ago it's been constant hard flaccid and hourglass appearance when flaccid.
My erections are still normal from a length and no deformities standpoint but feel a little stiffer. I
simply cannot stand the stress of this and mind as well get an implant so I don't have to worry about then future of my penis.
I will look to contact Dr. Eid sometime hopefully this year.

Richard,

First of all, you have not filled out your signature line, so no one knows anything about you.  We don't know your age, and whether you are married, we don't know what treatments you have tried.  We do not know what doctor you have consulted or what tests or diagnosis you have had.  Even if you tell us all of this, when you post again in a few days, we won't be able to keep you separate from the other twenty thousand members here.  Please follow these instructions https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,10819.0.html

Even though a lack of a signature line made me have to type many unnecessary questions, I will respond to you one time with the limited information you have provided.

Why would anyone who has a penis without deformity and who can get reliable erections get an implant?  Dr. Eid will not even give you an implant even if you pay cash, and insurance would have no reason to pay since you have no need.

Richard,

Thank you for putting some information in your signature line.  Now that I see that information, I can only reiterate that getting an implant at 22 yrs old when you have a functioning penis is out of the question.  Any doctor who would even do that would have to be some unethical surgeon.  To get an implant in the first place would be a mistake.  To have such a surgeon doing surgery on your penis would be a double mistake.  I will try to explain why.

1.  Your injury is only a couple of months old. -  It is very possible that it will still heal properly.  Healed damage with a scar is not Peyronies Disease  That is what happens to all wounds on the body. It does not progress and over-run good, undamaged tissue.

2. You say you don't want to have to worry about the future of your penis. -  You might have an additional 65 years with your penis.  If so, what happens when you wear out 4 or 5 implants and can have no more?  If your penis were non-functional now, that would be a silly worry because you would be without a penis in your youth.  Use the penis you have now.  Don't sacrifice a functional penis now.  Look at every 5 years that you use your penis as one potential implant revision that you avoided.

3. Implants are to give a man without a functioning penis (due to either curve or erection) a functional penis.  They are not preventative, and they are not to correct the looks of a flaccid penis.

4. there are the additional reasons I gave earlier - No doctor would give you an implant, and insurance would not pay for one.

Finally, the fact that you would even consider an implant suggests you need psychological help.  If you cannot use meditation or other-self help methods to stop stressing over your penis, it is time to get good counseling.

PS: I have been here for 15 years and I have no idea what a stiff erection is.  Erections by their very nature are supposed to be stiff.

My flaccid is constantly hard and I do not know if it's because of an injury or CPPS or both. I also experience hour-glassing which I'm not sure if from injury or tight pelvic floor. Makes me wonder if I have corporal fibrosis.

Why do you need to know?  You still did not tell me what is so miserable about it?

Why not just ignore it and live a healthy life.  Check back every month to assess the problem but get on with your life.

Because I just want the hard flaccid to go away it's always hard and not soft and elastic what it use to be before all this. And I have no clue what's wrong with me. I've read so many different theories that this could be a pelvic floor problem or the pre-peyronies stage or maybe both because of constant hard flaccid and hour-glassing. Very stressful times. I have no clue what my penis state will be in the future.

Richard, CALM DOWN.  I have been here for 15 years.  There is no panic.  Of course, you don't know what your dick will be like in the future.  You are not a fortune-teller.  You have no clue if you will be alive in 2 months. One thing is certain, however.  Your biggest problem is an irrational fear. You injured your dick and

1. it still gets erect
2. You have lost no size
3. You don't even have a diagnosis of Peyronies Disease

You should be celebrating.  Why does it matter if you think you see some hourglassing when flaccid???
Why do you care if you have hard flaccid

If these are major problems in your life, you are leading a charmed life.  90% of the men her would pay half a year's salary to say that.  You must realize your hysteria is not rational, and it was manifest in your life before this injury.

Richard,

1. How exactly did you injure your penis and what if any medical help did you seek out?

2. What are some other ways that your stress, panic, anxiety, have affected your life prior to this injury?

Hawk I respect your input and statements. My believed injury was from I believed to be caused by a traction device. I believe I used too much tension which either messed up my pelvic floor or/and caused me hourglass while flaccid. What concerns me is NeoV said he had hour-glass deformity when he was 18 years old which i believed he referred to as pre-peyronies. Plus reading about the hard flaccid type symptom says it can be a result of a pelvic floor disorder. So if I'm in a mess with pre-peyronies and CPPS this is a struggle to deal with. I am going to be visiting a urologist in 2 weeks and I bet he won't know anything about me so I'll just stress pelvic floor issues so I can go to pelvic floor therapy. And my stress and anxiety before this came from just not living a satisfactory life before this initial penile/pelvic issue whatever may be wrong with me. And since this my hope for every being with a woman has completely been lost. I am a virgin and all I ever wanted was to be with a woman one day and since this happened I have no hope. From possible penile damage along with pelvic floor dysfunction it's hard to cope with. And I've been dealing with this for over 2 months now but hopefully I'll get urology and possibly pelvic floor and pain management treatment by end of January or early February. I really hope the hourglassing is from a very tight pelvic floor but I don't know anymore. My glans are also specifically whitish on one side which is strange also. I wish I would of never worn that extender I believed I either stretched too much to cause an injury or messed up my pelvic floor. I guess I'll see for my future but a very VERY stressful 2 months. I just wish it was 2023 already two years from now so I can know what state my penis will be in and see. I just don't know. What a big punch to the face this has been.

Hey man, i dont have the informarion to help you with figuring out the source of the problem, but im pretty sure of one thing, whatever it is, if you try to relax and breathe deep theres a good chance that you will have a better chance at healing, atleast do it untill you get a more helpful respond

Try laying down breathe deep and breathe out slowly

Richard,

This really is the bottom line.  Your penis is the same size, the same shape, and gets just as erect as it did before.  This means you have exactly the same hope of being with a woman that you had before.  NOTHING HAS HAPPENED TO CHANGE THAT.

To expand on that all-important bottom line, there are many men with bent dicks that get women.  It has been pointed out and confirmed that a good percentage of the men in porn videos either have congenital curvature or have Peyronies Disease and don't know it.  The shape of your functioning penis is not going to have any effect on "being with a woman."

Now, it is time to ask the question that gets to the real issue.  Why were you wearing a traction device (apparently with excessive tension) if you did not have Peyronies Disease? It seems evident that you were in the mode of obsessing over your penis long before this injury.  What is the cause of that obsession? THAT is what has to be treated.

My point of view is that most other advice here is irrelevant and misses the real issue of what is going on with you.  AND I think you know that is true.

I agree I had no reason to be wearing that device and I regret it everyday. And now I have to try to battle to combat against this hard flaccid I have now. I just wonder if I have artery thrombosis, nerve damage, or a venous leak. And I hope this hourglass while flaccid goes away too because I never had that. I will be going to a urologist and neurologist to see why my penis is always turtled.

Also explain why you are frantic to get rid of your "hard flaccid" rather than just ignoring it and getting on with your life.

Because it is always hard in the flaccid state and I want it to be soft and elastic again. Whenever I walk around it's always hard and only whenever I lay down it somewhat softens. After ejaculation my penis still remains hard and takes a long time to go back to hard flaccid from when before after ejaculation it would return soft flaccid state. I truly wonder if a pelvic problem because when I squat it's somewhat softer but hard when standing or walking. I don't know.

Richard, I understand some concern, but you are nowhere in the ballpark of normal concern for your condition.  I am not a psychologist, but you are clearly OCD or a hypochondriac about this issue.  NO ONE in their right emotional mind would consider Xiaflex injections for a perfectly straight penis. When I add reliable erections and no loss of size to that, it sounds like you are joking or being sarcastic.  Then I consider that you actually wanted an implant.  I can't believe I am even reading this. it is time to be realistic.

According to you, you already did some minor damage using a high tension traction device for no good reason.  Now you want to follow up with an implant or Xiflex injections for no good reason.  Xiaflex has more chance of causing deformity than it does of making your flaccid penis a little more flaccid.

You obsessed over your dick when it was perfect.  In doing so, you might have a very minor condition.  Now you want to finish it off.  You have to know how crazy this sounds to everyone reading it.  Leave your dick alone and get psychological support. That is the problem.  This is like a man with an elephant standing on his foot, surfing the internet for steel-toed shoes.  The elephant is the problem.

Richard,  What pray tell are you even talking about.  How in the world can your hope be dashed by an un-deformed penis that gets reliable erections just because you self-diagnose with "hard-flaccid" which is not even a medical diagnosis known anywhere on earth.  I have asked this ten times in ten different ways and you NEVER answer it.  I have run a forum for 20,000 men for 15 years and I have no clue what you are talking about.  Can you understand me???

I almost feel bad for you because you don't have any verified progressive Peyronies Disease which you desperately seem to want to have.

At the end of the month I should have a clue what's wrong with me. I hope my urologist is not a bad one and does take me seriously. I just have to remain hopefully from urologist visit and explain all my symptoms. I can understand and the only reason I am self diagnosing because my penis is always hard in the flaccid state and never is soft. And my erections last a long time after ejaculation so something not right. Just hope my urologist has an open mind for me.

You STILL did not answer my question.

If your penis is as straight, as long, as thick, as ever, and if your erections are as reliable as ever, how will having a "hard Flaccid" have a negative effect on your life much less ruin your life?

You are avoiding that question as you have over a half-dozen times because the answer is -> that it will have no effect on your life, your chance to have sex, have a family will be totally unaffected.  It only bugs you mentally; THUS, it is your mind that is injured and needs fixing far more than your penis.

"Hard flaccid" is a term that comes up a lot on the PEgym forum, you might want to do a search on that forum to see if your case meets the criteria and what remedies may be available.

Thank you, Richard,

So there you have it if you will calmly read.  In answer to the question:
If your penis is as straight, as long, as thick, as ever, and if your erections are as reliable as ever, how will having a "hard Flaccid" have a negative effect on your life, much less ruin your life?

Your answer: "It's just mentally stressful"

So you begrudgingly agreed with me that there is nothing about your penis that has any actual impact on women, relationships, or your life.  It is only your state of mind that is an issue.  You also avoid giving any explanation of why a 'Hard Flaccid" would stress you.

I can see why it would interest you, maybe even annoy you,  possibly I can stretch and say I can see why it would even concern some men, but there is no basis for it to stress you and have you
1.considering extreme, radical, solutions
2.predicting it will have some impact on your chance to be with women

Remember, you were stressing over your penis when it was perfect.  You have emotional problems, and I predict that your urologist will agree.  I have great concern for your inability to recognize the problem when it is pointed out.  That is the first step if you are to have ANY hope of a solution.

Ive read some different things about hard flaccid. In my case it seemed to be stress related when I first got signs of peyronies. After a few weeks when I finally started to calm down it went away.

And regarding anything else, I agree with Hawk. You might have nothing at all, try to calm down and focus on other things in life. If you have injured yourself and are in any sort of pain, do nothing with your penis for a few weeks and reevaluate where you stand then.
