Hi all,
I just had a doppler ultrasound today and the doctor did not identify any plaques/scarring/calcification, although a minor venous leak that he said I should not worry about (I'm taking 2.5mg taladafil, though).

He said that the minor venous leak might have happened because my urologist said he should only inject half of the product that provokes the erection and not its full content (because of my age and for the fact that I do not have major issues with ED).

The question is: should I redo the exam in six months-one year? As I still feel some pain, I imagine I am not in the chronic phase yet, so the plaque/fibrous tissue might have not develop (hopefully it will not). Or maybe the doppler could just not detect it for any reasons.

Any thoughts/suggestions? Thanks.

I don't trust penile studies, my latest Doppler echoes describe that my penis has nothing, but I can feel, see and touch that this is not correct.
My conclusion is that doctors send us to do unnecessary studies to obtain a commission, at most they diagnose us, but if you know of any penile disease that can be cured, I would like to know

You could feel and touch a possible plaque even before ultrasound or it developed afterwards?

Yes, I could feel it and see it, I even told the man to take a good look at the area I marked and he said: "you have nothing, your penis is fine", and I have several problems.
There is a new technology called elastography, it is expensive, I did not do it.
My advice is that you do not waste time or money on studies, because it does not solve anything for you. if you want you can do 1 to clear the doubt. I must have 10 scans, it makes no sense.
the first ultrasounds did show plaque, then "they didn't appear" but I continued with the same problems
