Post Op Day 2

Finally had my implant surgery the morning of 12/30/20 by Dr. Clavell out of Houston.

Overall, he said the surgery went well and feels I will be happy with the results.   No more curve, no more Erectile Dysfunction, no more meds, no more worry.

I have a 24cm Titan with 1cm RTE's.   Because of my good girth (6") he add some extra fluid to the reservoir to help ensure I am filled out. Pre-op measurements was about 6.75" length and 6" girth towards the base.

He did take out some excess webbing in my sac because it would have tendency to pull down on the penis.

I am currently @ 70% to 80% inflated which I will continue to be for 6 weeks.

Pain has been mild but more discomfort and almost a pressure feel in my perineum area.

Can anybody offer tips and tricks with recovery?  Especially for how to manage and erection for 6 weeks.

I appreciate the support the board has provided and thanks for providing the confidence in making the right decision.

29 year old. I was taking 400 Mg spironolactone to treat hair loss. Xanax withdrawal in combination with spironolactone shrunk my penis from 6" to 4".
I am seeking information about the sliding technique.

Kickit, even among top doctors, every doctor has their own protocol, which strikes me as strange.  I have no clue how to deal with a 6-week erection.  Dr. Eid sends patients home deflated and has them cycling within 3 days.  He stresses that if the reservoir is not kept filled in-between cycling, the reservoir capsule will scar down and cause auto inflation.  So, in essence, he has his patients stretching their penis and stretching the reservoir capsule both by day three.

It was difficult dealing with the Titan implant deflated for 6 weeks.  Hopefully, others will have experience in dealing with it inflated.  Obviously, it can be done.  Others do it, and the main thing you have to keep your mind on at this point is that it has an end date, and your life will be transformed for the better.

Hawk - I agree, don't fully understand why the difference but it's best to listen to your surgeon.  I am very excited about the improvement in quality of life and getting everything behind me.

I appreciate the information you have provided on these forums about implants and how to select a doctor.

Kickit, I take your procedure was scrotal.  Was the incision verticle on the raphe or horizontal?

PS: I finetuned the topic title of your implant journal so I can index and it will be easy to find for men for many years to come.

Post Op Day 3

I took all the bandages off last night and was able to take a shower.

My sac is still very swollen along with parts of the shaft.  It's hard to visual what my penis will look like once all the swelling goes down but time will tell.

I am very nervous and cautious having my penis around 75% full, last thing I want to do it to hurt myself.

Pain is still manageable but more discomfort in my sac and perineum area still.

Hi Kickit40

Good to hear you've made it successfully through surgery and seem to have a very good result so far. Wow! 6 weeks inflated to 75%! Why so long? What's your history that led to an implant? I see you said you'd been doing a lot of reading of our journals etc in the background while you waited. I was pretty much fully inflated for 10 days after my surgery. This was due to the severe bend I had pre-surgery and my surgeon wanted the implant, in the early days right after surgery, to remodel the natural shape of my penis as much as possible - a great decision as it turned out.

I do remember the pain immediately post-surgery was not at all bad but started to increase as the days moved forward. Having a full-on boner for almost 2 weeks was not only quite sore, it was very awkward. I couldn't stand up when anyone was around the house as it was clear I had a full erection 🤣.

What's your story?

If you need any advice at all just ask on here or private message me? You'll know that I and many others have always said that the help and advice on here, once you are implanted, is second to none. To have the ears of many who have been through what you are going through is priceless.

Good luck.

Post Op Day 6

Swelling has started go down in the shaft and head of my penis.

I still have plenty of swelling and discoloration in the scrotum & perineum area.

Pain is softening within the penis and very manageable.  I started having some discomfort and pain the scrotum due to the pump.  I am not sure if it's repositioning or pushing on the scrotum but the doc assured me it will go away.

I haven't really done measurements yet because I don't think they will be reliable with all the swelling still going on and not fully inflated.

I am still @ 70% inflated and can tell my penis is nearly at 3 o'clock and basically no curve.

Will be honest, nervous about losing some size.

Day 28 Post Op:

Per my doctors orders I have been inflated for just about four weeks post op.  Just about all of the swelling and bruising is just about gone.  I still have a few stiches in the incision line but expect those to be gone shortly.

The doc said I could masturbate if I was very gentle.  I needed a release and wanted to see what happened.  My glans engorge nicely (like pre-op) and the orgasm felt normal.  What I really like was the mental aspect of not having to worry about my erection and able to focus elsewhere mentally.

Because I have been healing very nicely the doc said I could start cycling.  Today I deflated for the first time and took some measurements.  I am going to start cycling tomorrow for about an hour a day and will take more measurements

Pre-op Erection: 6.75" L & 6" G
Post-op Flaccid: 5.75" L & 5.5" G

Still have a little discomfort in my scrotum but I feel that will go away.  It's interesting to see my flaccid penis hang at about 4:30 - 5:00.  There is some pain towards the base when it's flaccid, is this normal?  I am now aware of the Titan bulge everybody talks about.

Overall, feeling secure about my decision and looking forward to cycling.

Yes Dr. Eid I believe wanted (2) 30-minute sessions but he told me (1) 60-minute session was good if I recall correctly.  I will have to check my journal

I AM CERTAIN YOU WILL MEET YOUR PRE-OP SIZE IN THE FIRST WEEK OF INFLATING AND LIKELY EXCEED IT BEFORE YOU HIT 6 MONTHS.

Day 29 Post Op

Cycled for the first time today for an hour.  I tried to inflate as much as I could.  No idea if it was to the max but enough were I felt some pain and managed during my cycling.

The pain was in the tip of my penis and along the sides on the shaft.  I'm assuming that's the implant stretching the tissues which I took as a good sign.

The pump is fairly difficult squeeze but read it will become easier as it breaks in.  Also, no idea if I am deflating all the way.  My flaccid penis is hard to conceal currently, overtime how does a flaccid penis change with a Titan?

Took some quick measurements during my cycling:
Pre-op Erection: 6.75" L & 6" G
Day 1 Cycling Erection: 6" L & 5.75" G

I'm sorry but I never understand exactly what these clock comparisons mean. Could you explain to me what this means? 3 o'clock is to the right, so the first thing I think is a penis with a 90 degrees curvature, but I know I'm wrong cause you're saying you have no curvature now.

How is everything going thus far? I live in Houston and just recently saw some of Dr. Clavelles' videos on youtube. He seems like a very good doctor. I contacted his office for a consultaion and hopefully I can speak with him this week. My question to you is this. How long between your consultation and your surgery date? Thanks

Thanks for posting.
So if you look at the guys on here with 22cm, we max out at about 7" after about 6-12 months from  implant.
With you being 24cm, you should easily exceed 7". As Hawk always says, it's not a sprint, it's a marathon. I hope I am quoting Hawk correctly, LOL
Be patient as try to inflate to a goal of 60 minutes per day, once you get to maximum pump. Hawk gave me some pointers and told me to pump it up every morning, have some coffee, check the news, etc. It sure helped me in taking my mind off the "stretching pain".
Best wishes, you will fine.
Welcome aboard.
