Asphyxia

I went to a psychiatrist twice in the past and got prescribed with SSRIs which i never even considered taking, more so now as i know that anti depressants are causing erectile dysfunction
plus im not so keen on pills
Does anyone know of natural herbs which help with mood but also with peyronies? I wanna kill 2 birds with 1 stone

Cant get cbd here
I know that adaptogens like korean ginseng and ashwagandha are good
Im wondering about herbs like kanna, blue lotus, wild dagga, marhihuanilla etc
If they slow down circulation or have negative cardiovascular effects then i wont even consider it
Any knowledge on these or other herbs?

Psychiatrists are not psychologists.  They depend on prescriptions as a primary and often as the only means of treatment.

Counseling by a GOOD counselor, meditation, natural components like you mention, and others like St John's Wort, SAM-e, and others may help at least as much as prescription drugs.  I am not sure there is any data on their impact on Peyronies Disease, however.

SAMe worked for me and also passionflower. Anything that relaxes you naturally will help with an erection. Alcohol can bring on ED. I don't know how it affects peyronies. Stress and anxiety also causes ED.

Hard flaccid can definitely mess with your head, and stress only makes things worse. I've found that managing stress is half the battle. Meditation and deep breathing have helped, but something that surprised me was how much delta 8 gummies helped take the edge off. They don't magically fix everything, but they relax me enough to stop hyper-focusing on every little sensation, which honestly makes a big difference.

If you're looking for a natural approach, I'd recommend checking out Bryan Johnson's supplementation protocol—specifically his earlier version, before he started selling his own supplements. You can still find it on his website. Many of the supplements he includes are focused on improving circulation, regeneration, and reducing inflammation. Since Bryan rigorously tests and filters for effectiveness, his list can be a great reference for identifying the most impactful options. I personally take some of them, including Astaxanthin, Luteolin, and Omega-3, among others.

That said, if you're at all open to considering medications, it's worth noting that not all antidepressants function the same way. For example, Wellbutrin doesn't cause sexual dysfunction—quite the opposite, in fact, as it can enhance libido. It also doesn't lead to dependency, which sets it apart from some other options.

Additionally, there's another intriguing compound worth considering that currently falls outside natural supplementation and conventional medication: methylene blue. It has impressive benefits for mitochondrial efficiency, neuroprotection, and antioxidant support, while also offering mood-enhancing effects. One of the reasons it improves mood is that it acts as an MAO inhibitor, increasing serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine levels. Unlike many antidepressants, it doesn't seem to cause emotional blunting or libido issues. I'm particularly excited to try it myself soon.
