Is this normal (Side effects+Reations) for a Xiaflex injection? Erection pain.

Hi everyone, just finished my first xiaflex injection cycle last week (two shots on 12/8 & 12/9).

A bit about me:
- 28m, 30 degree curvature to the left, slight dorsal curvature, hourglassing near the base, and indentation to the left of the base.

Bruising wasn't TOO bad, swelling was quite severe near the pubic area. The pain made it pretty hard to walk for the next couple days, and still experiencing a bit of tenderness after a week but not too bad.

My concern is that my erections now kind of hurt. It's been a week and im unable to get a full erection due to the pain and tenderness. Is this normal? Hopefully its not a fracture? The patient guide said painful erections is normal for 48 hours, but never mentioned it would still be the case after a week...

Hoping to manage my own expectations and keep my hopes up.

Thanks everyone!

This does go away. I (have taken 4 rounds now (8 shots)). Each time was different as far as swelling and bruising and pain. Do I think it was a big success, it's really hard to say as the bend to the right still exists although I guess I have gained back some girth. I may seek more rounds through my Dr. & insurance. Ultimately, I think I will have an implant for the ED (Venis Leak), which honestly isn't really that bad but I like the on-demand and long-session capabilities it would provide. For now, I will continue with the Restorex to try and gain back some length first though.

Had Peyronies disease w/45-degree bend from using Quadmix for 2 years for better sex
4 rounds of Xiaflex.  1-2" length loss (surgery may correct)
Titan Implant 10/21. Surgery by Dr. Valenzuela
Included TEP and Grafting.

Thanks Danny, your response really does help with the anxiety.

Best of luck with the ED. I've experienced the inability to maintain an erection too. Went on a nofap, no porn, exercise, herbal supplement, and fasting routine that I thought really helped. Of course everyone is different. Maybe try some of that before anything too invasive?

I think it is tough, because everyone is different.  I imagine a couple of weeks and then I might get anxious.  But for now just glad to be actually on the Xiaflex and not fighting the insurance for it.
