Rapid Deterioration - injury or peyronies

Hi,

Age 31, first noticed symptoms 3 days ago. I had a "collision" a couple weeks ago with my partner and it hurt but nothing crazy, didn't think any thing of it.

3 days ago I noticed my penis looked significantly shorter (about an inch) and just different. I noticed when flaccid it seems that the entire upper left side was hard, with a few noticeable lumps.

Yesterday I measured a 30 degree upward curve. Today it seems more curved, perhaps closer to 45, and there is pain. The whole left upper quadrant feels very stiff/hard when facid and there almost seems to be a row of lumps along there from the base to the glands.

Part of me is hoping this is simply inflamation/reaction to an acute injury and will heal, but part of me knows/feels its not. I have a doc appointment in 5 days, but frankly, I'm devastated. The unknown and fear it may just get worse is rather overwhelming.

I've already ordered an extender as I understand sooner is better. I'll wait until after the doc appointment to start as I worry stretching while my unit is injured might be counter-productive.

Knowing this community exists though has already been calming.

Thanks all

To add to my previous post, now that I've honestly calmed a bit.

I've started CO Q 10, Acetyl-l-Carnitine, and have L-arginine but also take cialis, so at the moment holding off on the L-arginine until doc approval. I'm also taking Ibuprofin as I don't get sides from it and considering how early I have "caught" this, I'm hoping reduced inflammation could help.

The pain with an erection has become more apparent, its not terrible, but I also haven't tried to have sex yet. My curve is currently bout 34º. There is a solid mass on the top of my penis, just slightly back from the glands. There's also a "ribbon" that follows down toward the base with a few lumps in it directly above the center line.

My entire penis also feels less soft when flaccid and I have a harder time urinating. I'm slightly worried there's a little more going on that meets the eye. My doc appointment can't come soon enough.

I told my partner today, she is out of town at the moment and I planned on telling her when she was back but emotions got the better of me. She was very understanding but I do worry about sex. I have lost a solid inch or so of length, so about 15% (but interestingly girth seems the same). I don't think the angle will be a problem and I'll have to see about the pain.

One question I have is considering how fast this happened, is there any indication of what kind of progression I may have? It literally seems like one day was normal, the next day my penis was curved 30-40º upwards and there was a lump on top, the next day there was pain associated with it. Is that speed "normal"? I've heard with under 40's the progression can be "hyperacute". Not sure where to post this kind of question so please direct if this is an inappropriate place. Thanks.

Again, very glad to have found this place. Thanks

Welcome to the forum.  I hope you find the information and support you are looking for.
The most important thing you can do to start is to read this guide more than once.  Read it slowly and study it then ask questions.  https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,3180.0.html

It would also help you immensely if you would fill out the signature line like the one that appears below my post. https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,10819.0.html

Sorry you're going through a rough go. It hit me at 35.. I read the same thing about hyper acute but mine personally was more of a slow burn for 5 full months..In general all the urologists I saw said the younger guys on avg have a better go of this. But yeah it's unpredictable. You could just stay how you are or even get better.

You need to get a vaccum based traction device ASAP. Try the penimaster pro or restorex, or even both.
Also buy a vaccum erection device and use it for 20min/day.

Do not wait on your doctor. Most studies and experts suggest starting traction ASAP - JUST DON'T DO TOO MUCH TENSION. In the hyper-acute phase you want to promote scar tissue to form in an elongated state - not cause more tearing.

What you have is an injury, which will lead to peyronie's - scar tissue of the penis.

If your doctors recommends to wait or just taking vitamin-e find a new one ASAP. You can always consult with Dr Levine via video.

Start your own therapy ASAP, only count on your doctors to prescribe you pentox and cialis. take 3k l-citruline every day and coq-10.
Get into researching DMSO in the alternative treatments section of this forum. Take this into your own hands - do not wait for doctors.

With DMSO focus on combinations to *lower* inflammation. Eat a low inflammation diet. Get some exercise. It's going to be time consuming and overwhelming at first but you have all the resources in the world on this board.

Best.
