I think Tim was the last active doctor with Peyronies Disease on the forum that I can recall and he has not been active.  We have had a couple of others who were only moderately active.

I am losing all respect for your opinion.  You talk with the confidence that you know what you are talking about, but the more you talk, the more you show your total ignorance of most issues related to Peyronies Disease and Erectile Dysfunction.  There are a lot of small studies that show benefits from several things, but the reality is that hands-down NOTHING has the patient satisfaction rate of implants.  That is true worldwide; that is true on this forum....NOTHING is even close.

Of course, it is about "the money."  It has been about the money since the first caveman sold a bear-skin to the guy in the next cave in return for some of his fire.  Money is a tool of survival. Here is an economics lesson most people grasp as adolescents.  People do not go into business for the primary reason of doing good for another person.  Their PRIMARY reason is to give another person a thing of value so the seller can buy food, shelter, and clothing.  It is not immoral to exchange something of value that you have for something of value that the buyer has (in this case, money)

This, however, has NOTHING to do with this topic and is nothing but a useless cliche'.  Stop showing ignorance by talking so much and speaking so confidently about things you are clearly not equipped to have an informed discussion about.  If your goal is to sound wise and instruct others, it is not working.  It has the very opposite effect.

Hawk, My opinion is that I wish the Medical community would be putting more effort in finding ways to recover the healthy tissue of the penis instead of putting the effort in destroying your penis to put a "foreign" object. Because the implants are generating profit,I doubt no one will try to find a medication that would "fix" Peroynes. Implants may work for some people, but not for others.

I bet there are people trying to find a fix for Peyronie's. Just follow your assumption that "it's all about the money". The company that finds a decent solution is gonna earn a lot.

Even if the treatment isn't patentable, there are still people trying to study it. Take a look at psilocybin treatment for depression and PTSD. There is a lot of research being done nowadays cause the damn government (USA) started to allow it. If it wasn't for the government, we could have these kinds of treatment muuuuuch earlier, but this is another subject.

Bad luck, how in the world would the "medical community" go about that???  Doctors are not bio-tissue research scientists with labs, unlimited research funds to conduct years of study with failure after failure.  Who would pay for the facilities, annual salaries for all the staff from scientist to assistants and janitors?  If they came up with a cure and enough for it to cover the expense, the great risk of capital in an unsure venture, and enough for a respectable profit, you would say it's all about money.  You seem to have no grasp on the scale of the problem or the difficulty of the solution.  

Why aren't you doing it?  the answer is because it is far easier to sit on this forum and point a finger at those who try and fail.

People talk the same nonsense about cancer.  They claim doctors hide cures for money while doctors bury their family from cancer at the same rate as the rest of us.  It is ignorance and anger immaturely lashing out in the wrong direction.
