Hello,

I'm sorry again for publishing.

As you must know for sure, I am not satisfied with my old Nesbit operation done in France and I would like to correct the residual curvature.

Which surgeon do you advise me in Europe? Knowing that some of you have been on this forum for a little while now.

I've read a lot about Dr. Kuehass but there is not a lot of photo evidence, and besides this will be my 2nd surgery, can he make up for it?

I also wanted to know if any of you know a guy on this forum who did traction after a Nesbit surgery.

Thanks again!

Bye

I have just read so many contradictory opinions about Dr. Kuehhas, I am completely lost...

Be aware that developing ED after a second operation is more likely to happen. So think twice before going for it. I can't reccomend any surgeon in Europe

I had a consultation with him and I didn't get out of the office with the best impression. He's decent and he told me he does roughly 60 surgeries per year which is good but this doesn't make him a high volume surgeon to me. Thus he got his own way to see things: he doesn't believe in venous leakage and he's strongly against implant (well, like most of doctors in Europe). At least he was honest warning me surgery would have mean facing some probability to worsen my erection function, which was already very bad at that time

Thank you for your answers.

It's still a pity not to have a reference in Europe...

In America I hear about Dr. Gelman, but I'm afraid it's also a fad like Kuehhas, isn't it?

Jack I saw your bad experience with Dr. Kuehhas I'm sorry ... I thought basically he could have been my savior ...

I have seen that many people have had good experiences with Dr. Gelman in the United States,
Do you think this is reliable?

Thank you for your feedback,

But I find that there is still a lack of feedback About Gelman

From what I understand, the cost of surgery with Gelman is very high ( 18 000$ D
of what I could read on the forum)

But if it can save my life, I find that it's a price to pay.

I am a finance student in my final year, I can eventually take out a loan and pay it back over 3 to 5 years.

But I just want the best for my penis and to be able to have a normal life.

Professor Ralph in London would be a better option. Very experienced surgeon and respected expert in Peyronies. He would be a lot cheaper as well.

Thank you for your answer sky!

Does this doctor use the plication with grafting method? Do you have permanent stitches or not?

I am trying to find the best solution

I had the Lue procedure (incision and grafting) and not Plication, which has gone very well.

Alex83

Ok, so it's a graft, I'm looking to do a surgery and where traction is allowed afterwards, because for nesbit nobody can tell me if traction is allowed.

Because with all the misadventures I see on the forum.

The best is still to stay in France and make a Nesbit again ...

Grafting is only recommended for curvature > 60 degrees due to the potential impact on ED.
I would suggest that traction would be fine with a permanent stitch after Nesbit. Nevertheless, you should speak to a urologist first to be sure.

Alex83

Yes, I'm not thinking of doing a graft.

I was able to see another surgeon today (doctor beley) who told me to do the Yachia surgery himself, he also advised me why by redoing the surgery with the first surgeon who operated on me (doctor faix) but that would involve a new Nesbit.

I'm pretty confused, because I read the story of guys who had done several Nesbit and the result was disastrous.

And then on this forum Nesbit just seems to be a plague.

I would like to point out that this Dr. Beley allows traction after his Yachia surgery with permanent internal stitches.

I would like to clarify this for all those who do research on this forum as I have been able to do. To see for Nesbit, I will continue anyway. I hope to have at least 17 cm (my original size) before a future surgery.

Merry Christmas!

Hi Alex,

I'm also looking for the right surgeon for my congenital curvature. I agree with you that there is very limited feedback with actual surgery here for Dr Gelman. If i recollect correctly only AeroT, Daved2 and dixie wrecked have posted their feedback on him. One other member - mst1622 also has had surgery from gelman, but there is no separate thread on his experience, but he has had a very positive experience with Gelman.

From other members who have consulted with Gelman and but didn't go through with him for surgery is because of lack of insurance options (mostly). those members also speak very positively about Gelman.

Im from india and gelman had quoted 18000-25000 usd as cost of surgery one year back. Do reach out to him for a consultation and share your feedback. im still strongly considering him because he is the only surgeon doing the surgery with fully absorbable sutures. Im under a risk of bleeding due to an existing medical condition, hence a little scared of permanent sutures and its risk of suture failure.

thanks

hi thecrookedone,

happy new years mate!! I got ur personal messages regarding kuhhas and gilman. u asked me if i could connect u to the patients who had done surgery with both gilman and kuhhas. I actually only know one patient who went through surgery with gilman and one patient who had surgery with kuhhas. They both told me they are not willing to speak about this matter with anyone but they gave me the green light to illustrate how they are doing now in life

kuhhas patient= desperate, depressed, single, unusable penis, residing in a mental illness facility as a result of the surgery trauma

gilman patient= happy, hopeful, married and his wife is pregnant in the 4th month, living life to the fullest

if u search the internet u can clearly find where gilman did his fellowship, under which mentor etc....

if u search the internet u cant find any info regarding kuhhas, so it seems to me that kuuhas does not have any fellowship training

So... They told you all that but they are not willing to speak about it with anybody else. Just you! You were the chosen one, out of everybody in this board to know about these two guys stories in full detail, but obviously they told you that they do not want to talk with anybody else. How convinient!

And yet again, we have somebody with a few posts registering just to bash Kuehhas. Like...seriously? this again? another clone, for the exact same subject?  What do you plan to achieve here? Wake up dude

Dr. Gelman in Irvine, California, performed an exam on me. He also phoned me about 2 months later in response to an email that I sent to him. He is serious about his work, appears to be very good at it, and specializes in correcting mistakes made by other surgeons.  Eventually, I will ask him to perform plication surgery on me. There are several reasons for not having the surgery performed, yet. They are: 1) Dr. Gelman relieved my anxiety about the disease and surgery in the aforementioned phone call by saying, "You do not have to race to do the surgery. Your condition is not life threatening", 2) Another urologist is using Xiaflex with me to improve conditions as much as possible to provide Dr. Gelman with the best possible surgery conditions, 3) the COVID-19 pandemic turned many things upside down, and 4) other illnesses I possess take precedence.
Age: 65. Peyronies Disease in MAR 2019. 90 dgree upward curve.. Immediate &  severe. Xiaflex, APR 2019 to early 2021, slow but minor improvement through 2021. Incisional corporoplasty surgery completed in late 2022.

Hey,

mst your box is full, so let me ask you the question here

So I was able to be in contact with Gelman, he was very clear with me and reassuring.

This motivates me even more to undergo my surgery on his own!

However, I did find out how to get to the United States.

Did you have to take out a bank loan for this surgery? Because I read that when we arrived on American territory, we had to justify our reason for visiting but also if you had enough money to finance it.

Thanks to you!

So Gelman's secretary contacted me today,

I am offered a video interview for the modest sum of $300...

Honestly, I find it expensive because we only exchanged 2 emails... more than 300$ for it to come to nothing ...
Has anyone ever been in contact with Gelman here besides Mst?

The price of consultations with other surgeons in the United States is the same?

I have just deleted some messages on my box.

So Denise contacted with you? I love that woman.

Ask Denise for writing some document about your surgery with dr Gelman. She will write it, dr Gelman will sign it and then you will have document explaining your specify reason for having the surgery in US.

I had that kind of document from them too.

What dr Gelman said to you? I am very interested.

PS.
Are you sure you can entry US from Europe due to COVID?

I gave you my Facebook so you can write me on FB.

thank you mst!

It seems like a nice person, we only talked by mail to arrange a meeting with the doctor.

Yes I believe that travel in the US and outside the EU is possible for compelling reasons (I think straightening up a guy's dick is one of them)

Gentlemen

Gelman is the very best. No hype. He did my surgery, and I now have a straight penis.

UC Irvine is the hospital where the surgery takes place. They are proficient and professional.

I met MST1622 personally,  as his surgery was scheduled the day after my release. I picked him up after his release,  from Dr Gelman, which was the least I could do for our brother,  who traveled to the US from Poland. I realize, you are pressing him for proof, and I vouch for the guy, because I know him.

Gelman was my third surgery... the 2 previous surgeries in Europe failed to correct my curvature.

My journey lasted nearly 7 years. I wish I had chosen Gelman from the very beginning.  I lost years of my life.
50 years old, tried 5 rounds of Xiaflex, had Egydio grafting surgery, then Stage sutures for residual curve, then plication in 9/18, now finally I have a straight penis

Hi Alex do you live in le Var in France? I live in the Bouches du Rhone  :) Me too I'm looking for a urologist to have the operation done to straighten my curved penis!

I have an upward curve ( congenital curve ) & maybe Peyronie's ( or penile torsion, I'm not sure)

Anyway, I've only consulted urologists from around here: Mr Altobelli, Mr Garcia & Dr Faix too ( although that was a few year ago) but they all told me that the operation would be done under general anesthesia ( and not local anesthesia), I'd lose 1-2cm length & become circumcised!

Do you know any urologist in France/Europe who does the operation under local anesthesic, where I won't lose any length ( since my penis is rather short already it's slightly below average therefore I can't lose any length) & where I won't get circumcised?

This is the first time I've posted in nearly two years so hello all again.

I had my surgery with Dr Kuehhas in 2017 and I had a fantastic experience. I had a dorsal curve of 50 degrees as well as a curve to the left of 15 degrees and he corrected it very well. I did get some residual curve return after 6 months, and my penis now has a dorsal curve of 10 degrees but is completely straight.

That was 4 years ago and it changed my life. I'm no shill for Kuehhas, you can see my post history if you look on my profile. I know a few people who went with him at the same time and they all had good experiences.

The penis is a delicate and complex structure and unfortunately any surgery carries risks, but with Kuehhas you're in safe hands, he trained under Dr Egydio who is pretty much the world leader in penile surgery.

roberto456

I had surgery with franklin kuehhas in September 2017 and it changed my life forever. Before surgery he told I will perform the STAGE surgery on you which includes absorbable sutures.

5 years later, I feel sutures all my penis. I had examination by multiple urologists and they told me kuehhas performed nesbit surgery on you.

my complications after kuehhas surgery are severe erectile dysfunction, narrowing, thinning, sensation loss on glans and shaft, distal flaccidity, severe discomfort due non absorbable sutures ( without my consent ), pain which comes and goes, premature ejaculation, no axial rigidity at all, hard flaccid, glans rotation and list goes on and on.

unfortunately now I can not start a family like a normal person and urologists suggest I should do implant cuz kuehhas left me in a big mess.

Am I the first person to go through all of this after kuehhas surgery? do your research on this forum and others forums and u will see the I'm not the first victim

the surgery did not only leave me impotent but also robbed my manhood identity

there is a compelling reason why kuehhas is not affiliated with any university!

Always the same debate on kuehhas ... it's really annoying.

qwertyman I will not be doing my surgery with Kuehhas, there are many guys I have spoken with personally who have had a mishap with him, plus this will be my second surgery, his rate of successful surgery re-do's on guys on the forum is catastrophic.

And then personally I only believe guys who provide pictures on this forum.

Alex I haven't posted pictures because I'm not comfortable with sharing intimate pictures of myself online for anyone to access.

My posts were years ago and I have even provided yearly updates since I made my post, so don't try and discredit me based on emotion, I was extremely self-conscious of my penis for most of my adult life and I researched, chose, and paid for my surgery by myself. Although the outcome was good for me it still was very worrying and traumatic in parts and I spent nearly a year deliberating over pursuing surgery before I went for it. My input has value so don't just brush me off.

I'm not discrediting you in any way, I read your story and I'm happy for you!
But my case is not virgin I have already undergone surgery and we have on this forum many testimonies of guys who went to Kuehhas to do a repeat surgery and the success rate is not famous.

And personally the support of testimonies with photos confirms me on the veracity of the testimony. About the Kuehhas' surgery we have only one testimonial with pictures (from a Portuguese guy I think)

I thank you for coming back to this forum to give news of your condition! I would like to be able to do the same later and believe me I would have liked to do my surgery with Kuehhas and especially in Europe but all the factors make that Kuehhas is perhaps not the surgeon adapted to my case......
