The realisation this is as good as it gets...

Been feeling a little down the last few days as I come to realise this is as good as things get.

Post incision and grafting I still have a 45 degree upwards curve.  Unlike before surgery I now struggle to maintain an erection, so take 5 mg daily cialis, with a viagra when sex is a possibility, although not sure it particularly helps.

I've also been using a foreskin stretcher for around 6 hours a day, for the PST 6 weeks, partly to try and increase sensitivity but more so to try and overcome the constant discomfort of unprotected head rubbing, due to the angle of (non) dangle due to contraction following surgery.

I've started thinking it really doesn't matter what I try, things aren't going to improve a great deal.

Without hope of improvement I'm struggling not to spiral downwards

i dont k ow much about you but from reading here many would considef an implant to be one more possibility to further improve the situation. idfix the residual curvature and otger deformities and provide a reliable rigid erection. i really get you though, to fight you have to have something to fight for, without any options it feels like even more of an uphill battle, i really get that because i often feel like this too. buti guess there is always something you can still try

Hang in there Pixie.  Foreskin restoration takes over a year, but you should gradually see more coverage.  Are you considering any non-surgical Peyronies Disease treatment at this time?

As Peter said if you have a deformity and some ED issues an implant is almost the obvious solution with one out-patient surgery.  Whatever you may think of it, it is far better than you can imagine.

Thanks for your comments and words of encouragement.

I appreciate an implant may be a solution.  But I have had such negative results from surgery over the last few years I'm so scared to go under the knife again.

I also feel it would only be an option if it did restore some length, after removing the plaque and previous graft.  As the moment I'm not sufficient penetration would be possible even with a full erection.

I'd also be interested to here from anyone who is trying foreskin restoration.  I've been getting pains and I'm not sure if it's in foreskin, or deeper and new plaque is forming

With your other significant issues, I cannot even imagine why the concern with a foreskin which is a long tedious road at best.  

Also are you suggesting that your Bone Pressed Stretched Flaccid Length (BPSFL) is not enough for penetration if you were erect and straight?

Hi Hawk - I always respect your opinion

My main source of daily discomfort comes from the loss of foreskin leaving my head to rub on clothing as due to the loss of flaccid length, and hard rigid lump from the graft, my fella retracts so that it simple stick straight out and doesn't dangle. Albeit pretty much all the shaft disappears.  The rubbing is initially annoying, but can develop into a burning sensation.

Over the last 6 weeks I have seen a little improvement as my foreskin now covers a little more of the head.  I can only hope this continue to improve.  

I had a partial suspensory ligament cut to try and stop the penis retracting so much and hang in a better position.  The skin of the penis was also anchored to prevent the penis retracting, but the stitches pulled though.  A prosthetic was added to stop the ligaments rejoining.  Unfortunately the prosthetic now gets in the way when trying to use a VED as I cannot easily push it to creat a good seal.

As for length, I have gone from a stretched length of around 17 cm to about 12 cm; 13 on a good day.  Obviously with the 45 upward curve, erect length is shorter.  I have some pain on erection of the last couple of months which I think may play into the loss of erection quality.  

Maybe an implant would help with lots of these issues, but I'm so scared of further surgery.

Because of that I cannot recall your age etc or if you have ANY degree of Erectile Dysfunction.  A good surgeon could however probably get some of your lost length back with an implant.  Not sure if you are retracted too much for this to work but another option is going to a store and buying some newborn baby sock (preferably some that don't say "Momma's Little Baby" on them and wear one over your penis.  Many have used this, especially after surgery when they are rather sensitive.
